Who's the Almariel in "Almariel Chichi" anyway?

Posted by Almariel-Chichi

"Chichi" is a cutesy Japanese Honorific for "Dad", and I have three daughters, 2 PureNeemos, one named Almariel, one named Azunia (on permanent loan to a little girl in a quiet town in Manila, who I unfortunately lost photos for) and one Dollfie Dream Va-va-Kaboom - er, I mean, Dynamite named Atiyaah.

The PureNeemo I have is named Almariel and was the very first daughter I adopted, almost over a year ago, from a dinky little shop named KKnM (Singapore anime manga fanatics should recognise what these initials mean :D). She likes sweet stuff, the color white, and being a pacifist. She hates getting dirty (seems common amongst many dolls on figure.fm xD)

I apologise in advance for the slightly lower quality of these photos - these were taken with a 6MP false-DSLR camera that I traded off for a more versatile Pentax long after these photos were taken. Anyways, enjoy!

Surprisingly enough, Almariel has NOT stained at all during the prolonged periods I kept her in this dress (and the time she was kept in this dress during purchase. That's not to say I don't put her in a lot of other clothing - one advantage of a 1/6th doll over a 1/3rd doll is: much cheaper clothes xD

Almariel bringing the Sass in a Alice-In-Wonderland themed dress! (this dress got worn a couple of times - and it went to Manila with Azunia.)

World's tiniest waitress. World's most expensive chicken rice (assuming you don't mind including chicken rice cooked from plastics xD)

Morning walk dress. Or "bouncing a lot on the bed" dress, to be more precise (*sigh* I seem to pick the really hard-to-please ones, don't I?)

If someone says Azone Pureneemos can only look cute, but not sexy, please show them this picture and a box of Kleenex. (for the nosebleeds. duh. what else would you need Kleenex around a sexy pic for?)

Beach Volleyball tip #531: keep ponytails tucked in a neko hat when in play to avoid thwacking your eyes. (especially if your eyes are reallly large)

Invisible doll stand, son of invisible bike, meets invisible volleyball briefly before he gets spiked away. (the ball, not the stand)

PureNeemo - it's one hell of a gateway drug to BJDs and Dollfies.

if you decide on Obitsu, you also need to decide if you want the standard Obitsu body or do a custom face-up based off of the alternative Yamato VMF50. at 50cm scale, Obitsu will beat Volks hands down any day for price and poseability (more range of motion), but Yamato Toys' version swaps out the standard Obitsu 50cm body shell in favor of one with much more sexiness running rampant. The standard clothing from many tailors catering to VMF50 is also a bit more... risque. Here's the Japan webpage for VMF50: http://www.yamato-toys.com/items/cate_list.php?cid=123 (I wasn't kidding about the risque part.)

Unfortunately, if you choose this option, you'll probably have to use a proxy service to purchase and ship from Yamato Toys Japan as Yamato Toys USA apparently do not think people outside Japan like their BJDs looking overtly sexy. Basically, VMF50 is what you'd get if you wanted a smaller BJD with more gravity on the boobs.

As for Volks, stick to DDs if you want to find clothing more easily. DDdy has its charms (two of them are very obvious right away in fact xD) but finding clothing for Atiyaah's voluptuous figure has been a PAIN IN THE POSTERIOR. More tailors are doing clothes for DDdy off the rack but most 60cm clothing will still fit much better on standard DD bodies. DD also tends to be slightly more flexible, especially on smaller body types (it's all that puppy fat on the DDdy)
