I received this amazing action figure as an early Christmas present!! I've been eyeing this guy when I first saw the prototypes at San Diego Comic Con 2009. Odin stands to about 12 inches in "Gestalt" horse form, and 19 inches when transformed. So tall that I am still trying to figure out where I should place him. Hm....
The paint job is beautiful, and the intricate details are stunning! It also comes with a small packet of extra joints, 1 chain link, 2 extra hands, 1 white cape attachment, 1 tail/headpiece attachment, 2 "horns", 2 transparent stands, 2 (attachable) blades, and 2 extra hands for the Lightning Play Arts Kai action figure. Odin can stand on his own without the stand in horse form, but you would really need to use the stand when transformed because his arms and headpiece make him pretty top heavy, and his legs are wobbly.
The only problem I had with him is that the shield, being the horse neck and saddle, was very difficult to attach to the left arm. I really had to force the left arm in the shield for it to stay in place. Other than that, the action figure is very fun to pose!
For a Play-Arts figure, it's sure as hell expensive.
I know... The price for quality, I guess.

Thanks for the pics. It's not common to see closeups of this one from actual owners. The details are more elaborate than I thought.
Who's going to ride it? Figma BRS might be a good fit. Or will Tako and Nendo fight over it? Or will you get Lightning? Choices, choices. ^^
