Trinity of Dollfie Dream DD Saber セイバー・リリィ ~ Saber Lily Maid version ~
Continuing from my celebration photo shoot for the newly arrived Dollfie Dream DD Saber Lily セイバー・リリィ, I have gathered the 3 Sabers together for very first time to complete my "Trinity of Dollfie Dream Saber" Achievement!

This is the photo I have always wanted to shoot! Saber, Saber Alter and Saber Lily decked out in their gear… oh what’s that Alter is holding??? But life in the Hikari Photo Studio is not all about combat, so it’s time for the for the 3 Sabers to change into something more appropriate ~
And what could be more appropriate than 3 Saber Maids??
I personally think they look better without the head dress ^^;
But the main attraction today is still Saber Lily :D To mark this special occasion, I have Lily put on one of the recently acquired ◆Le chat de neige◆ Alison Maid Dress, one of the most elegant dresses in my collection I have to say~ But of course, Lily is totally worth it!
Lily is proudly showing us all she is worth!
But of course, who wouldn’t have thought that Ecchi Lion will play a part in this? I think Lily has taken a liking in Ecchi Lion honestly, or is it the other way around?
Lily: Would you spend the night with me? ♥
This couldn’t be called the Trinity of Dollfie Dream Saber without some kind of a yuri scene right? Especially when Lily is here now… Looks to me that Saber and Alter have found a good reason to embrace each other now :D

Nope, only has an imitation one that looks ok. That's why I haven't formally introduced her yet.

How goes your quest to obtain Lily?
I got her! Her and the Avalon sword. I didn't get the maid outfit, but I guess that's okay. It was kind of on the expensive side anyways. So, sometime in March, Saber Lily will be my first daughter.
Well congrats! But like I mentioned in my last post, you really really ought to get very familiar with handling a DD before you welcome Lily. Perhaps go to a doll meet in your local area etc and ask other DD parents to let you handle one.
First, I'd like to thank you for writing that post because I would not have known about the potential troubles with the hair and petticoat. Second, now I'm kind of scared. I don't want to accidentally damage her. I'll look into that idea of visiting a doll meet.
Yeah, you live in CA yeah? There are more than a few people in the CA region, you will want to meet up with them and handle a DD first. It's not bad once you get the hang of it.

Triple Saber is overwhelming! I know this'll probably sound like blasphemy, but even after seeing Lily with the original and Alter, I think Lily's my favorite DD Saber. ^^; She just seems more. . . outgoing, or something.
Well, triple Saber photo shoot has always been part of the plan ^^; I have to say I too like Lily more than Saber and Alter. Lily has a more shapely face and look more mature and elegant, whereas Saber and Alter both have more puff on their cheeks and look younger~
I know that was the plan, but even so I was not prepared for the overload of awesome. ^_^ Yeah, her face does seem more mature, but she also comes off as happier. Saber and Alter make me want to be obnoxious and ask, "Why so serious?" ^^;
Well, if I am pulling the Trinity of Saber card, I better damn well make it as awesome as I am capable of ^^; I think it turned out alright though. I was never quite too big of a fan of the original Saber head mold, as it lack the more mature sex appeal for me. I think Lily will fill the role nicely :D
For me, the original Saber mold lacked expressiveness. They nailed the green of the eyes though. "Fill the role", huh? Do I detect some head swapping plots?
Right, I am with you on the original Saber head mold. Well Lily is my joint favorite along with Kiriha now, so hmmmm yeah, some delicious yuri XDDDDD

Nice shots XD i have to say i have to agree with you that Saber Lily shoots better at angles. She looks a little odd full on, and her face up is a lot warmer looking.
Yes, Lily's true strength is in a slightly off angle and off from the side, full on view I still prefer Kiriha's look

Saw them on Flickr earlier, excellent photos! Saber Lily is so gorgeous (and sexy) in that maid gear. Like the different angles used for her, she does seem to look best indeed from thos especific angles.
Comparing the facial sculpt to the classic Saber, classic Saber's mouth has more of a mischievous slight smile aura to to it but I love the sharper, more mature look of Saber Lily's chin and overal facial features.
Triple maids = WIN
I do get the feeling the Lily is like the more mature/sexy oneesama of the younger Saber and Saber Alter XD. The maid photo shoot progressed much faster than the combat photo shoot because I can freely position Lily's head to give the proper feeling in any particular frame, imo, the head position is one of the most important aspect in DD Photography. Yes, Lily looks her best in a slight off angle, I have to experiment more to bring out her true potential~

Holy cow...they are truly gorgeous together. Oh yeah, I have had the worst luck with maid headdresses. I've either not gotten the headdress that goes with the outfit, or the one that comes with it frankly sucks (I'm lookin' at you, Volks DD Blue Short Maid!) so when everyone gets into Maido they usually don't wear the headgear.
Besides...does this need a headdress to look cool?

Lily's headdress is actually quite good but Saber and Alter's are not as good. Problem with headdress is that even if they are slightly off, they would make the overall feeling of the photo less appealing, plus a lot of them actually messes up the wig when you take them on and off a lot, so in most cases it's better to leave them off.
