My First Dream Dollfie
About three weeks ago, I ordered my first Dream Dollfie just before I left for university. At first, I planned on taking her with me, but once I got moved in and discovered I lived in a cursed dorm room (broken shower, no cable, mysterious stains appearing on some of my stuff), I decided against it. When my doll arrived, I told my mother to keep her at home instead of forwarding her to me like I originally asked.
Now, three weeks later, my good friend from back home came down to visit for the weekend and brought my darling daughter to visit me. It's the first time I've seen her, and I can't describe the happiness I felt when I got to hold her for the first time.
For my first Dollfie, I picked Dream Dollfie Yukino. Something about her sad and sweet face just drew me in like a moth to a flame.
Even without her hair, she still has such a cute face!
After finally getting to meet her, I decided to name her Mariko. A sweet yet elegant name seems to suit her very well.
"Mommy, please give me some money for clothes."
Mariko and Hineihana get to meet for the first time! Mariko thought Hineihana was just the cutest little thing that she'd ever seen. Hineihana demanded to know why her little sister was taller than her.
Despite their difference in size, they seem to get along rather well. Hineihana already trusts her sister to hold her up with only one arm! Impressive strength, Mariko!
I guess all the excitement got to Mariko, so she went to lay down on the bed. What a sexy pose!
Getting her second wind, she decided to grab up my new Hidamari Sketch manga and settle in to read. I'm glad we have the same taste in books.
Mariko is very happy to be here on figure.fm, and she hopes you will enjoying seeing more of her in the future.

Yikes - have the shower and cable been fixed? Don't know about mysterious stains. ^^;
You also seem to have the plain brick walls residence walls tend to be cursed with, it seems. My old residence room looked like a jail cell.
The shower has been fixed, but I am still without cable, despite my calling maintenance almost every day.
With the brick walls and the exposed pipes hanging just below the ceiling, it really does feel like a jail cell sometimes. I've done my best to hang up some posters around my desk, but there's actually rules about how much of our walls we can cover with posters. My room mate is also a non-otaku, so I don't think she'd like to be surrounded by my anime posters on all sides ^^;
Oh wow...we never had the wall rule. o_o I had a lot of Design friends who covered every square inch of their rooms with stuff. I also had carpeted floors, which helped alleviate the jail cell effect a bit.
Of course, then comes the question of how long it'd been since the carpets were last washed... >_>
I don't even know why. Maybe it's because of fire hazards or someone doing something stupid in the past. We have a small carpet, but it's gray, so it makes it look even more like a jail cell sometimes ^^;
We just had a rule about not putting holes in the walls. (not that it would have gone well, since that particular dorm had brick walls as well. Painted though, thankfully.) So long as we used a removable adhesive like those 3M strips, we could hang as much as we wanted. My roommate overloaded some of her strips, though, and several of her pictures took to falling off the wall now and again.
