The Exhumation of Queen Dol-Phi
(Admit it, I made you look xD)
Carrying a Dollfie in a bag intended for something almost twice as long probably wasn't a good idea in the long term, so I went hunting for a proper bag. This is a proper bag.

Doll-carrier bag for 1/3rd Dolls up to 70cm in height from Doll-zone. Contains more pouches than a herd of kangaroos, one especially roomy in a TARDIS way and contains safety belts for its occupant
(Remember, dolls, always buckle up when travelling in a conveyance much faster than your walking speed - it could save your resin/vinyl! This PSA sponsored by CPOVLD - Concerned Parenthood of Very Large Dolls)

Atiyaah is only 60cm as 1/3rd Dollfies go, so there was plenty of space for her to rattle around like a shoebox (if she wasn't tied down that is). So she travels with her more everyday clothes padding out the top and bottom for extra comfort/safety - none of those SAL-style disasters thanks!) In the event of a disaster, her original makeshift babyhood doll-carrier is also stowed away compressed as a lifeboat in the event of critical doll-carrier failure.

The shiny stuff on Atiyaah's face in this pic is her burial m- I mean, her face protector. it's easier to get scratches and rubbings on a protector and replace it later than it is to fix a ruined faceup!

"Are we there yet?"
Yes, yes we are. ^^;

Not exactly vintage, but this blanket was 'evacced' from the now-defunct Hotel Phoenix several years back.
remember to use protection when penetrating unusual new places you're not normally in.
This ribbon was falling apart. Special thanks 2 Alice @ Alice88th for helping me with a little thread and some needle.
nice!!regardless,she seems comfortable in there!!!:)
*stares in remorse*
So you can imagine how angry she was when she suddenly wasn't in there. Grumpy gluts knows how to hold a hammer.
Cool!^^
haha, nice.
i totaly forgot about face protectors.... i have been trying to calculate how much i will need to save up for a dollfie i will need to include this in the price :P
she really looked well protected in there. i hope she knows how good a papa she has ^_^
In a pinch, styrofoam cups or 7-11 Slushie/slurpie dome lids can be used - try to make sure whatever you use is deep enough that it doesn't crush any eyelashes you used, or scrape against the nose.
thank you very much for the tip :)
At least now she is better protected for trips. What does she think of her new carrier? Hopefully she knows you are trying to protect her and keep her safe... =3
One less kick in the crotch this time around. I think she's softening up, the little dearie.
That's an awesome story. I am glad she arrived safe and sound. She is so cute coming out of her tomb.

Having way too much fun with your posts. ;-P
Thanks!
thanks. The next post I have queued up will unfortunately be much less mirthful, more thought provoking - for preparatory homework, think about the last time you went into a cafe that wasn't run by some big/small corporation that crosses countries.
That means:
no Starbucks,
no Tim Hortons (sorry, Tim, you forfeited your 'purely of home' tag when you started serving Canadian goodness to folks across the southern border),
no Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf,
no Old Town White Coffee (a Malaysian brand - with branches in Singapore),
no Tom & Toms (Korean + Singaporean franchises coming soon),
no Cafe Ti Amo (Korean/Pinoy),
no fracking Wendy's (you actually think Wendy's serves coffee?),
and no other chains I don't have a idea of but which proudly boast they have outlets across more than one country.
