Miyuki-chan's First Snow!
When I awoke this morning, I looked out my window and saw that it had snowed over-night in North Carolina. I did not think we were going to even get snow, since it was due the day before, and we never saw a flake! Miyuki-Chan instantly went running up to the window to see what had me in awe.
"Mama... what is all that white stuff outside?"
It's snow, Miyuki-Chan!
"Snow!? I have never seen snow before... just in some animes and movies!"
"Look! The houses look like gingerbread houses! I wonder if the snow tastes like sugar or frosting!"
Umm... no, Miyuki-Chan. Snow does not have any flavor...
"Mama, I want to go outside and see the snow!"
Umm... Miyuki-chan... It's cold outside. Volks has not sold the winter clothes line yet, so you have no winter clothes! You'll be cold outside!
"I want to go, now!"
*sigh* Alright.
"Wow... everything is covered in snow!"
"And it's freezing out here!"
I warned you, Miyuki-chan!
"Baka! You are a terrible Mama! You let me go outside when it was so cold! You are so cruel!"
"It's not really that bad, Miss!"
"That's right, my husband and I enjoy such wonderful weather all the time!"
"Wahhh!! A talking Snowman and a talking Snow woman! Mama, get me out of here! Snow is strange! I don't like it at all! Uguuuu!!"
And so, I brought Miyuki-chan inside, where she threw a fit over not having proper winter clothes, and has developed a fear of snowmen and snow women.
She looks a little brr-brr right now. She needs a nice warm coat and boots. Miyuki is a name that sort of has something to do with snow, so yeah, I suspect maybe she has a special affinity for it. And maybe her Magical Girl abilities are keeping her warm right now.
Oh no, she was freezing and I never heard the end of it! She's still throwing a fit as we speak, too. T_T Looks like someone will have to get a new outfit.
Yup, that sounds like a typical Dollfie Dream diva.
I just think she is jealous her sister Manami has more things than she does. (Along with her half sisters Rei and Yoko... and her cousin Tsubaki) I am hoping she gets over it...

It looked like a blizzard at 8am this morning, but soon calmed down. Now we just have a few flakes... so be warned, it will probably dump a ton of snow on you!
Yeah we're supposed to get a foot of snow, which is great since woke up with a cold...and have to shovel...TT3TT
^^; I helped my Father shovel the snow. I kept telling him to go inside and I would do it, but he insisted. My arms are now killing me. T3T Being sick does not help it, so I imagine we are in the same boat.

XD What a demanding little princess. But that's what she gets for not listening! I'm hoping it won't snow while I'm here at my parents (I loathe the stuff), but I'll admit I'm curious what Agatha would do upon seeing snow. . .
^_^; She is the most demanding of my doll family. I fear she really thinks she is a princess, now!
You know, I am curious as to what Agatha would do seeing snow, as well! Would she try to run experiments on it? Perhaps even try to bring some in, only to discover it melts? So many possibilities, Poofiemus!
I know! Whatever she does, it'll probably be entertaining. ^_^ But unfortunately, she doesn't have any true winter clothes either, and she actually still doesn't have shoes. ^^; So if she does see snow, anything she does will have to be done fast. =P
Wow, yall got a good covering! I'm glad Miyuki got to go see it tho, even if she did complain about the cold. She looks good in those last few pics! ^_^ And I have to agree with her about the snowpeople.... they're kinda creepy. XD
She is so cute! Her outfit is lovely. The white background is perfect for enhancing her beautiful colors and soft pink hair. The outfits from the October 2010 Dollfie Dream Gathering and Dress Collection should come to Volks USA soon. They are usually available two months after they were available from Volks International. There were some warm clothes that fit both SD and DD:

T_T Don't tell Miyuki thattt... We can't afford the exchange rate from Japan, and I was in love with many of the Dolpa 24 After Event outfits, too. *sighs*
Oh well... I suppose I can put that money to some other good use... *gets a shoe thrown at her by Miyuki, again* T_T Uguuu....
The Dolpa 24 outfits won't come to Volks USA for another two months. Maybe the weather will get warmer and Miyuki will have lost interest in warm clothes by then.
