Sabekuji Kaneda's Room

Posted by Sabekuji Kaneda [www]

I admit I'm a bit embarrassed at my room. Before this giveaway I didn't want to post pics of it because of its simplicity and dullness. But like most of you guys I want to win the $100 giveaway :P

Been wanting to do a bit of renovating but the lack of funds prevents me from doing so. I want to make the room more spacious to accommodate more figures in the future. Any suggestions? If this was your room, how would you make it more spacious?

Shot of my desk. The space at the top is exclusively for figures. I can't place them next to the window under direct sunlight because that's bad for figures. Am having a bit of a trouble figuring out where to place any future figures because there's no more space. I might remove the gashapons to make more room but that won't solve the problem entirely.

You can see most of my room in this pic. Yeah, pretty small right?

Zoids collection. I have some 30+ Zoids in that table/shelf thingy. I started collecting Zoids in elementary as a 'level-up' from building Legos. Stopped at around highschool where I started collecting figures.

Most are in a very bad shape now because of neglect. All of them are very dusty. I don't bother cleaning them anymore because it takes a very long time (last time I cleaned them all, it took me 2 days :P). If I had the funds I would place them inside glass shelves. Seeing them in this states breaks my heart TT__TT

Appliances :P

Small TV, I know but that isn't much of a problem since I rarely watch TV these days. Mostly use it to play Playstation 2 (yes, no new gen consoles here. Is poor).

That pyramid thingy is an Aigo speaker. I plug my iPod there and listen to some BGM when I study.

If you're wondering where the computer is, it's downstairs in the living room :P

My little brother's desk. Those are gashapon figures at the top. He isn't much of a collector like I am and is more into wrestling stuff.

Bed. Mind you no one sleeps in this room. The whole family sleeps in the master bed room because it's the only room with an aircon :P

You need to get your hands on free furniture, it's easier then you'd think if you try at it. That's where you need to start, then simple rearranging with it and you'll be in shock.
luck would have it for me that my dad has no room for his stuff since we moved into a much smaller house many years ago, so he's thrown his stuff in my room, otherwise it'd be a desk and a bed.
