Been into anime and been collecting for 6 years now and been to Japan for a summer trip 3 years in a row.
My room is currently the basement of my house.
The total estimate of my room is around "$35000" CAD or around 3500000yen. This includes all my anime stuff in my storage room. Basically my entire collection would cost around that much. I pretty much bought most of my stuff at retail prices. Sometimes anime stuff would cost more at times and less sometimes. Also the Yen is currently pretty strong compared to CAD. So I guess my estimate is about right.
Figures: Currently have 155 figures displayed in my detolf shelves, and 39 figures displayed on my desk. I currently own around 350 figures and my collection is still increasing.
DVD: My anime DVD collection currently is around 248 DVDs (Japanese and English), and 6 blurays. My entire DVD collection including blurays and non-anime DVDs is around 570.
Doujinshi: I own around 340 doujinshi (Most of them from 3 years of Summer Comiket)
Manga: I own over 500+ manga. The rest is in the store room beside my washroom. Just don't have enough storage space.
Wallscrolls: Got around 16 wallscrolls.
Posters: Too many to count, well over 100. I got around 70 posters on the walls of my room.
Video games: As an otaku, I'm also a gamer as well. I own around 83 Xbox 360 games, 25 Wii games, 46 PS3 games and 80 PS2 games.
TCG Weiss Schwarz: Too many to count, but do have 5 decks that I use when I play and currently building a new deck.
CDs: I own around 72 Japanese(J-rock/ J-Pop)/ anime related CDs.
Etc stuff: Own 3 guitars (Cherry Red 69 Fender Mustang, Fiesta Red 65 Fender Mustang and White Gibson SG), and 1 Yuki Nagato dollfie.
