The Entire Touhou Griffon Line Up

These are some forbidden pics from Tora no Ana of the entire Griffon/i-con Touhou line up including 2p limited repaints. I've been frequenting Akihabara's Tora no Ana because they have an entire floor with just Touhou stuff. Unfortunately, all their figures are imprisoned in several glass cases with only preorders available.

But, it still makes for a good museum of sorts. As well as an important reference to see if I actually want to track down a particular Touhou figure. Pictures are usually forbidden in all stores in Akihabara but the staff were talking in the back of the store, leaving a quick opportunity to take a few pics. After these three pics, they begin to notice and looked like they were about to say something but then I left. ^^;;

My thoughts on the line up, now that I can sit down and look at my leisure.

- Sakuya Regular Release/ Sakuya Limited 2p Repaint: I just don't like the sculpt or face for Sakuya unfortunately. I adore the character, and often choose her to play as in Scarlet Weather Rhapsody but she just isn't doing it for me. Her 2p version looks awful in my opinion. Her hair looks like a snow cone. Not getting.

- Patchouli Regular Release/ Patchouli Limited 2p Repaint: I already have the limited 2p repaint. Colors look good and give her a ghost like appearance. Will be picking up her regular release that is still not due in stores until the end of October.

- Remilia Regular Release/ Remilia/Flandre Limited 2p Repaint: This figure is awesome!! Can not ask for a better face or details on her wings. Her hat is confirmed removable! The Limited 2p looks so cool too. They purposely made her look like her sister Flandre Scarlet. My only complaint would be that they should have given her those funky crystal wings. Still, these 2 are my current most wanted figures right now. Like her so much that I got a picture of Flandre/Remilia by herself. Hope I can find her someday.

- Reimu Regular Release/ Reimu Limited 2p Repaint: Have Reimu already and plan to pass on her limited 2p repaint. Even though it kind of reminds me of her ghost appearance in Concealed the Conclusion and admittedly, she looks great.

- Marisa Regular Release/ Marisa Limited 2p Repaint: Have Marisa already and plan to pass on her limited 2p repaint. Do not like her outfit in red. Had it been a blue color, I would have been all over that because sometimes Marisa's outfit is blue instead of black.

- Aya Regular Release/ Aya Limited 2p Repaint: I love Aya, even have her on my laptop in the form of a huge sticker. Will be picking up the regular release. I did see her 2p repaint for sale and passed on it. Now, I really regret it and she's gone now. This has happened to me in the past with other lines. If you want a figure, buy first, regret later. ^^; Do hope I see her again...

- Youmu/ Yuyuko: Not in the showcase unfortunately, but in the ad they look great. Will most likely be picking them up as well. So much for cutting back on figure buying.... The power of Touhou fandom.
