Happy New Year LOOTZ!
Well, the New Year has commenced and I'm spending it with you, figure.fm.
A seemingly modest haul this month but with the new conversion rate no less devastating on the old debit card.
At long last I received my very own copy of the Black Rock Shooter Blu Ray.
I shelled out for the Limited Edition and as you can see, they did not sacrifice much in the way of presentation.
The box set came with limited edition goodies galore.
The Nendoroid Petit Black Rock Shooter and Dead Master with a very cool display base.
I have been fascinated by the Hinako series of self-help animes since I first heard about them. When preorders went up for "Sleeping with Hinako" DVD + Figure set I decided I might as well check it out first hand.
Ever so alluring, I am guaranteed a good night's rest induced by blood loss from nose bleed.
I snapped up the reissue of the original Griffon Flandre. Very happy they released her again since she's one of my favorite Touhous.
Even though criticism abounds on early Griffon sculpts I think the Flandre is very beautiful.

As always, simply exquisite work from Azone. She's one of the prettiest yet, methinks!

My favorite anime of last season, MM! got a nice wall scroll recently.
Another great series starring one of my all-time favorite imoutos, Kirino. This is a "fabric poster" by Storm. Very, very nice take on the classic wall scroll.
With the release of the latest Otacool, my Pixiv list is guaranteed to grow exponentially.
After being EXTREMELY happy with the Mio pillowcase I bought last month, I went ahead and picked up some more stuff by Toy's Planning. This time in the form of characters from the awesome moege, Kisaragi Gold Star.
I'd really like to emphasize how nice the stuff I've gotten from Toy's Planning is. The fabric of their pillowcases is just this really soft cotton that breathes wonderfully but also traps heat when you want it to. Beautiful.

Yeah, the whole Hinako series is really strange. I do, however, find it kinda heartwarming that otaku are so closely catered to.

Where do these all go when you sleep? o-o
I put them to sleep on a bunch of pillows next to my bed. It's kind of a pain in the butt but I can't just throw them on the floor. That would be cruel!

I was almost tempted to buy the pillow cases myself.In the end I ordered the Kisaragi Gold Star cushion covers.

I had this Flandre on PO but cancelled it because I saw the silhouette of Griffon's alternate ver and was super excited. Since the final version of that Flandre was revealed, I was extremely disappointed and now regret missing out on this reissue. I think from now until April, I'll try to get the original version for a good price at mandarake or some other place, and if I can't find her, I'll opt out for the new version, depending on my money situation during that time.
On another note, I don't think she's supposed to hold laevatein across two hands like that.
Yeah, I'm not too pleased with the Laevatinn version that got announced. She's got a bad case of Scoliosis and Derpface in that rendition.
...and you are correct. Laevatinn was supposed to be in one hand and around her back. FIX'D!!!
