After seeing Applepuff post photos of the lovely Rina I fell in love and had to adopt her as well. After much searching on eBay and Yahoo Japan Auctions and thinking she was going to cost too much I happened to search the Mandarake site. In a stroke of luck she was available and without hesitation I put in the order. A few days later here we are, adopted another girl and still technically homeless (although that should be solved soon too...)

Now Cryptonics, Miu, and Rina are nomads together! It is like a real life anime story. You are so daring roaming the country without a home.
In just a few days I should have a home for the three of us. I just hope the girls let me repaint, right now the place I want has really girly colors.

Thanks applepuff, if it hadn't been for all your pictures of Rina showing up in my Flickr stream I may not have adopted her. For now it'll just be Rina and Miu. Maybe later a third will be added.

Seriously tho, congrats! She is a super cute girl and I know she'll be happy with you and Miu. It's good to hear that they are already getting along well. It's fun to see daughters having fun and squabbling a bit. They are just showing their love for each other... LOL

Well we do have a hotel to stay in for the time being. Miu has been waiting around for the house keeping to give them a tip for the good work they've done. Now Rina can take a crack at it as well! Although I'm sure Miu will need to show her how to properly greet the house keepers first... I should make a video of that... *idea!* starts charging up the bike camera...
Yup, I'm glad they bonded quickly... Right now they are trying to figure out who is actually the big sister... Rina is technically older, but I adopted Miu first so she has seniority in the hotel/condo. Ah well, I'm sure the three of us can figure it out at some point. :)
And you know it! I just gotta figure out when I can take a break... maybe plan it around some bigger Dollfie meetup as well...
I was just teasing about the home bit. ;^) I know you'll be into something more permanent soon.
I know what you mean about big sis/little sis. Manami was my first daughter so she is the eldest sister. Rei was only purchased 2 days before Yoko was so she is only Yoko's elder by a tiny margin. And in their respective animes, Rei is 14 and Yoko is supposed to be somewhere between 15 and 17 so technically she's older. But since Eva was made in the 90's, Rei is really the oldest! With all this possible confusion, I just go by order of adoption and its so much easier. ^_^
Well, if we have a meetup locally, that's no biggie at all. But nothing around me is what *I* would consider a big meetup. We would have to go to Charlotte or Raleigh NC to see more people. But that's not an issue for me as long as you got here on a Friday afternoon or evening. Then Saturday would be for the meet and Sunday for local stuff to go see. But just keep me informed as to when you may be able to do something and I'll do my best to make it happen!

Yup! I was pretty stoked about finding her. The auction price was at least 40,000yen over what Mandarake was asking.
