Jian Xue Part 2
Back on October 10th I posted about a damaged figure, Jian Xue. Well, the figure has been fixed and this is my promised update.

Back in October her thumb had broken off in transit (see below). Now she is fully repaired, thanks to the help of coworker and fellow otaku Quicksilverman. He did a great job of reattaching the thumb and matching a very difficult color...

Here she is in her thumbless state. Back when this all came to light the site I bought from, E2046.com, promised to send matching paint for the repair. They never sent it, nor did they do anything else.
I am through with them.

Putting her back together after the repair I snapped two strands of hair. They are hard to see and I can overlook the damage. Beware the fragility of resin figures!

Once I got over my bitterness I had to admit that she is a pretty cool figure. Still, if I had it to do over again I would never have bought her. Far more trouble than she is worth and awful customer service from E2046 (broken promises bother me a lot).

quite well =3
So beautiful, fine, good, and artistic!
Damn, I'm nearly a month late but better late than never. I've purchased at least 10 resin figures on top of multiple pvcs from e2046, so boxes arrived banged up but that more of a shipping issue i guess, and their boxes are kinda weak. The do use a bunch of bubble wrap though which I like to reuse when I sell my items.
But back to the my point. I've luckily never had any seriously damaged come from the so I've never had to have them replace anything, but that sux. I'm really trying to think of any major problems I've had and can't think of any. The biggest problem that I've had than I can remember (aside from shipping issues) is Fate Stay Night Rider figure I bought, her red emblem on her forehead was kinda scratched.
I know it's very disappointing the way they may have handled your situation but I'd say don't count them out yet if there's something you really really want.
