Use Rss feed for Windows 7 background
This is a tutorial for setting a windows 7 background to an RSS feed, I will be using a danny choo flick RSS for the example.
1. Go to your themes folder
C:Users[you user name]AppDataLocalMicrosoftWindowsThemes
2. Open a theme with notepad, this is assuming you have made and saved a custom theme before this.
3. Edit the file by removing the variable "ImagesRootPIDL", and its values. Then adding "RssFeed", and its value is the URL to the Rss feed.
4. Change the value for the variable "DisplayName" to what you plan to name this file.
5. Do a "Save As" and save the file what you want with a ".theme" extension, to prevent notepad from add ".txt" surround the file name in ques
Ex: "rssfeed.theme"
6. Double click on the file to open it.
7. You will be asked if you want to download the files, click on the option that downloads them.
8. The images will download and they should start showing up at your next background switch.
