Nendoroids at the beach
Had a couple of free hours in between my lessons today so I decided to cycle to the nearby beach to let my little girls experience the sand, sun and sea!

Kagamin is cautious when approaching the sea.
Never been to one before

Rin joins in and they wriggle their little feet in the waves!

Some waves are too strong though ^^

Rin trying to be look all grown up

What is this??

Ah! Tiny little nendoroid footprints in the sand!

What is a beach visit without burying someone in sand =3

And we manage to catch the sunset !
A fun photoshoot, but not fun cleaning up after that ^^

your nendo photoshoots always make me smile, petit Kyouka is awesome!
did they complain about sand in the pantsu? ^^
Of cos, but I took care of it with a little brushing =3
Your nendo photoshoots are remarcable!
What camera and settings do you use? Both concept and quality wise, they're awesome!
I use a Nikon D40 which I bought with the standard 18-55mm lens kit.
I shoot mostly in the preset CLOSE-UP and LANDSCAPE mode when I am outdoors to quickly take the pictures and scurry away to another spot to run away from the stares of the people around.
But I usually take in shutter priority or manual modes for pictures like the last one where there is a contrasting background or when I have lots of time to kill ^^
lol, don't let other people bother you ^^;
Thanks, I was thiking of buying a new camera (currently using mom's 8mpx Canon^^;) and was wondering if it would be better to go with Lumix or Nikon.
Thanks for the info, noted
Nice beach outing for the nendoroids.
It's a good thing the waves here are pretty weak, so there isn't any danger of nendoroids being swept out to sea.
Haha, yeah, I was quite afraid of that!
But the waves were still strong enough to knock the nendoroids down. Had to put them back onto their feet constantly, and snap snap snap away before the next wave comes to knock them down again!
Oh man, all the Kagamiku shots are cuteness defined. >< The first one with Rin, then the footprints, then the last one...got any high-rez versions of the last two to use as wallpaper? ^^;

There's quite a few footprints one !
I just found my new wallpaper. xP
Pretty cool, those two first pictures make me thing Rin and Kagami are sinking in quick sand.
Your Nendos adventures are amazing ^^ Kagami's expression is totally kawaii^^ Rin's a brave soldier. You don't get scared that their in the water? like if they'll get damaged or dirty from sea water?
"Where will they go next!?" Should be your Nendo slogan xD
I'm already scared of them getting scratches in my room.
I salute thee with the bravery of taking them outside and thro-- showing them around the beach.
Sand was disturbing. I took time cleaning them with the sea water before putting them back into their containers ^^
too darn cute!!!
I love you nendo photoshoots, they are always amazing and make me laugh.
Me personally, I don't think I would risk putting figures in the sand like this, for I would be afraid of getting them dirty. However, the photos are absolutely stunning.
Haha, yeah I was quite worried that they would get damaged, but it was just too temtping XD
Your Nendos are stealing my heart everytime I saw them... o,o
Awwwww, cute!....love the photoshoot
your nendo photo shoots are uber kawaii! bet them nendos enjoyed the beach outing :) looking forward to more nendo adventures :)
on the #3, you take the photo on a perfect moment , GREAT!...all are great XD
Very cute. Nice pics
Great pics! Will post on the GSC site in a mo.
The last picture is just sweet~! ^^,
Nice photoshoot ^_^. These pics are gorgeous, specially the Kagamin and Rin with bubbles in their faces.
May I ask you, no damage on the poor Nendos >___<? I love so much them that I keep all inside plastic boxes T_T. And even with all this cautious they got some Paint damage sometimes, hehehe.
I was saving up all my 'damages' for a post in the near future.
I guess, no matter how careful I am, there's bound to be damages and a little scratches here and there. I do a lot of outdoor shoots with my nendoroids, especially Rin and Kagamiku for over 2 months.
I have a missing sleeve that belonged to Rin, and the base of her twin tails are a little faded and scratched. I must say that initially I really did not intend to bring them out so often, but taking and sharing the pictures of them in the outdoors is an eyeopener to the beauty of these little girls !
And you can think of it as since there are collectors like you who can't bear to bring them out, I'll do it for you and take some pictures ^^
nice picture o(^.^)o
Your photos are very nice!
I can't take a good photo to save my own life lol
Need to read up on photography :3
Love the photos, love the Nendoroids. Makes me want to take my Figma out for a spin lol
So cute! x3
I loved the pictures with the footprints! x3
Sorry to break your heart but sadly the footprints were actually made by my index finger!
Couldn't bear to use Kagamin's leg to poke the sand so many times ^^
Omg!
I love it!!
These are really cute XD Love it, great work.
beautiful shots!
Great shots! Gotta praise you for your courage to bring them outdoors.
Sands... Saltwater... And the beach...
I really am scared if one time I have to do so...
Is it really fine to get the beach touch them?
Does the paint have nothing wrong?
Because, well, I ever live in the shoreline, and we have to clean our car once a week, because if not, then the car will went all rusted...
Is it not happening to them?
The paint job on my Nendos are still ok, so I guess the salt water is fine. It's not like they get soaked for a few hours ^^
Those picture are cute. I, for one, would be a little paranoid about losing my Nendoroids to the tides hehe.
Wow you should seriously consider a career in photography, no really! The pictures are very well done! ^___^
と・・・とっても かわいいww
ah ah ... very good photo @.@/
Kawaii! (>_<)
I would be terrified to take my figure to the beach. I'm scared of them washing away
really nice pictures there :D
Your pics make all nendoroids want to travel the world!
