Removing paint from a gundam

How would I go upon doing so?
I was thinking paint thinner, but I'm scared it will mess it up.

What kind of paint did you use? do you have any putty or primer below the paint?

Go to Wal-mart, buy some 91% Aclohol (it's like $1.xx something for bottle) and some Q-tips. Be careful in handling parts that are thin, alcohol will tend to dry out plastic and you could crack or break parts if you apply too much pressure. Rinse the parts afterward with cold water.

btw, the photo posted is Polycrap paints.

if the WHOLE kit has already been painted, just buy a new kit
dumping the model in thinner or alcohol might make it brittle and you could die from the fumes!
if you just need to remove a little paint, then it's fine

Well since car bodies uses polycarbonate paint, thinners will work but you will have to mix with something eles to dilute it, but i would use small old cloth or something and soak little thinner then try and then wipe it off. After rinse it with touch of washing up liquid as how you did before painting the car body.

Had a situation where I had to remove the TS Tamiya paint off some back parts of
my Red Frame kit (coz of frost). Thinner is no good, plus it smells so nasty.

A better solution is (assuming you used TS Tamiya and not Poly paints) is get a
container, dump a lot of 90% alcohol or up, let still for a whole day (won't
make the parts brittle) then sand off with a fine sand paper (800-1000 grit).

If you applied a primer then the sanding process would be longer coz you also
have to sand it off. Hope this helps!

Denatured alcohol. Go to your local home improvement store and buy it. It's safe for plastic, all you do is dump your model in and watch the paint come off.
