Hobby Search Delay?...

An awful first impression on my part since it's my first post over here in Figure.fm, but my curiosity is getting the best of me at the moment. ><;
As of late, I've had a bit of spare monies because of my late holiday hours at work. So I thought I'd jump into something that i've always wanted to do, and that's to collect figures! ^^ I purchased the 'BRS animation version' as my first get, even though I've been reading some mixed reviews as of late..
My dilemma right now is that I purchased this item on the 5th of January and I still haven't received any confirmation of shipment... :( Is this normal?
I know they were on holiday n' such... Aaand I know that it's only been six days since my order.. But I'm getting slightly fidgety over here, and am worrying if they somehow lost my order.. ;~; Has anyone had a similar experience, or know what I should do?.. It doesn't seem to be out of stock, or anything! :3

So I'm not alone... .o.
I had an order since before the New Year begin. I know one of the items in the order is out of stock and I've told them to send what's available twice. The other time is just in case my English didn't come out clear. I'd say give'em time since they are that backlogged if the things I ordered at the end of December hasn't even been confirmed yet.
Oh, wow! D: Dang, I had no idea they were backlogged that far with their orders... Disappointing. :(
But, well, I suppose it'll be worth the wait in the end... :) I need to quit being so impatient.. ^^;
I got my thing shipped, and the mail here is kinda slow, but that's because they took a holiday, so don't freak out. They're just like us, we need to relax, not like be automatic machines, so they took a holiday and what Kanako-chan told me, that they have over a few thousand orders to get through. If I was working there, I would've kept their orders to atleast a dozen when they got back.
I totally understand and respect their vacation time, don't get me wrong.
I was just being paranoid is all, I apologize.. ^^;
Since I didn't recieve my thing yet, I'm gonna make it snow again and rain as well.
the mail here is very slow compared to Aichi prefecture mail wait.
I woke up a few minutes ago and checked the e-mail. They replied to my e-mail, and also sent my shipping confirmation! (^^)v
I say check your spam. That ones happened with me. That I didnt get their shipping notification and it was in my spam e-mail folder for whatever reason.
Trust me, I've checked and double-checked every single folder assigned to my email address... >.<;;
Thanks for the tip, though! :D I'm sure it might actually pop up in there whenever I do in fact receive it..

Yes, I did on the 8th of January. Was anticipating a response at least by today, but.. If they're as busy as everyone is saying they are then I can definitely understand why I haven't gotten a reply..
Don't worry, Hobby Search has just been catching up on processing all the orders that were placed while they were on break.
I placed an order with them on January 2nd and I just received the PayPal Payment Request email today, so you're not alone.
Just give it a few days, they haven't forgotten about you. ^^
just read their website news. it had an announcement of their break.
Well HS emails always came in to me in spam no matter what I did this problem persisted tell they finally kicked me off of their website so F* them its all about AmiAmi use them there great
Been ordering from HS for more than 2 years, never had a problem, so I wouldn't be worried. Like everyone says, they were just closed for New Years and are probably catching up on their orders.
Guess I'm lucky. I got a HS paypal invoice on the 24th, and they acknowledged payment on the 26th. They shipped on on the 27th, and exactly 2 weeks later today I got my SAL shipment no problem.
Its nothing to worry about
due to the christmas holidays they've probably got a backlog of orders to pack and ship.
and of course they will start with the oldest orders first.
it always happens around christmas so dont worry about it to much.
I think they are still trying to catch up with the orders during christmas, no need to worry. Since you have seemed to sent them an email, just wait for a day or two, they are very prompt with their support.
I got my invoice a couple of days ago, so I didn't have any problems. And they shipped my order just yesterday.
