とある科学の超電磁砲 2011年度 カレンダー
I bought this とある科学の超電磁砲 (Toaru Kagaku no Chou-denjihou/Railgun) 2011 Calender back in October, but now I finally get to use it. But before that, an issue to take care of…

The front illustration of the calender is lovely! In person, this illustration is too gorgeous to be true. Instantly one of my favorite items.
However, that leaves me with the problem that I don’t want to tear off the pages down after every 2 months. My idea was to flip the pages back but if I hang it by using that hole on the top, I won’t be able to flip the pages. Time to get creative!

I needed an alternative way to hang the calender and I spotted this small hole. Assuming that it goes all the way through, I tried to put a needle and thread through it….that didn’t work out. So next idea…

Giant paperclip. Just have to slot it in and with a pin….

Done! Repeat for the other side and there is my lovely Railgun 2011 calender up on the wall, without having to tear pages down.

Illustration for January & February. I absolutely love how the names are in the correct order. ♥♥
I will post again near the end of the year to show you all of the different illustrations. For now, we must be patient. ^ ^

Now Misaka-tachi can watch over me besides my desk for the year of 2011! (^ω^)ノ
Have you gotten your anime calender for 2011?

Nice idea! I was having the same problem but the front illustration was so good I didn't mind lifting the page everyday lol. Thanks for the indirect tip
No problem! :D
Hope that you don't have to tear the pages off either!
Very creative idea. Thanks for sharing.
That's what figure.fm is for. ^ ^
Glad you liked it.
I really like this setup with the Miku charms! Very clever!
Thanks to the way the monitor is designed!
I can even stick Nendo Petites' bases in there. ^ ^
Damn it. Even a $700 camera can't do this illustration justice! >.<;
Nice! I'm a bit late on buying a 2011 calender.. ^^; I just painted my walls and they're looking pretty bare at the moment! When I buy one, i'll be sure to keep this in mind if it's designed the same way. :) Thanks for the tip! (^^)v
No problem. The calenders really add to the walls, plus it's useful. ^ ^
must have biribiri, please tell me where you aquired this beautiful calender.
not sure where they bought theirs, however, i got all my anime calendars from yesasia. they have free shipping over $50. other places that carry them are jlist and cdjapan. However, it is late in the season for them already, and most will be sold out by now. Calenders get preorders starting around august September for the follow year.
Do people hate to use the cap lock or something? :P
Most stores are sold out by now. The pre-order was in September and I received it in October. Try again this year I guess.
what do you mean about the caps lock? I hate that button I use shift.
damn oh well, I guess a poster is still good, thanks.
very nice idea, mine showing the other months illustrations of the calendars if you have time^^?
I love your work desk, very neat! and goes well with the calendar
I'm more of a desktop calendar person as I don't wanna make holes in the wall^^"
The earliest will be November. I haven't seen the rest either and I will wait as the months go by. Something to look forward to. ^ ^;
Thanks. I don't like holes in the wall either, but this house is not ours, and due to several different reasons, there are already cracks and holes in the wall. >.<;
Lovely calendar! I also thought about buying it :)
Good idea with the paperclips!
You should get one! Spend your months with anime!
Its very shiny! I had the Index Comic calendar for 2010 and loved it. Though smaller, the comic edition had a spiral ring top and no tearing was needed. Nice idea with the paperclips, I will have to use that in the future.
Awesome. I would like to get some of those calenders may be for next year. ^ ^
Awesome idea! :D My only calendar for 2011 is the Fullmetal Alchemist manga one, but it's got a spiral ring top thankfully, so no need to tear off pages.
That's good to hear. Let's enjoy our 2011. ^ ^
