The last time i think a lot arround that question...
In times like these with facebook and twitter everybody is a "friend" ...
but what are real friends ...
What are a sign to be a real friend or have a real friend?
What do you think?

A friend never sees you cry, a best friend gives you a shoulder to cry on.
A friend hangs up if you call them at 2 in the morning, a best friend chats with you till the sun comes up.

I think a true friend is someone who's always there for you. A bit cliché, I know, but it's probably the best description. You don't necessarily need to know them offline, either (one of my best friends is over 1,000 miles away and we've yet to meet offline).
...oh, and friends also link you to stuff that you might like if they happen to come across it (e.g. figures, games, anime DVDs etc.) That's another way of knowing someone cares.

hmmm... a question that requires some real thinkin'.
well, real friends can mess with and tease each other from time to time, for jokes and laughs (as long as both sides enjoy it). they know what to agree upon and don't fight over anything. trust is important. and they don't blackmail u or hold something against you.

Those are lovely photos! She is so cute, but in some photos she looks a bit sad.
I think a real friend is someone you understand on a different level and who understands you back. Even if they go far away and you don't keep in contact much, the next time you see them it is like no time had passed since the last time. A real friend will think of you often, and you will think of them too.
A very good friend is about to move to Canada in a few months, so this post makes me think of her. In my mind, there is no doubt that she is a real friend. It will be very lonely when she is gone. I want to make the most of the time I have left to spend with her doing everyday things like just having tea together.
People can change a lot and drift away from each other, but I think I will always care about my friend no matter what happens and how many years pass.
