It's Snowing!

this morning I woke up to a wonderful surprise...Snow! and lots of it. So much that I had to throw on my coat, scarf, mittens and hat to help shovel the drive way. After that was all done, I decided to take Yami out into the backyard for a few photos. It's her first time seeing snow, so I hope she enjoyed it. Maybe I should make her some mittens for next time.
"wow, it's cold out here!"

I think she got a bit too cold and tried to hide under an Urn. "Come on, Yami-chan, let's go in the house"
the snow likes to drift on the roof.
We have the same idea! This now is crazy! Great pictures, Yami is cute in her winter gear!
Thank you, she definitely enjoyed the outdoors. Hopefully I can make her some more winter items soon.

Snow is a devious thing. Fun to play and pretty to look at, but crappy for the shoveling and the driving @.@
Ha ha! I know what you mean. I have friends in snowy areas and they say it's nice for like 5 minutes and then you have to go out in it. XD I would not want to have to shovel and all that stuff, no fun there. I just want to play in it for a day and then have it all melt by the next day, no clean up! LOL
Snow scene is rather difficult to take picture in @.@
*nods in agreement* very true, it's also difficult to catch the snowflakes falling. But I'm happy with the results. ^^

Thank you. I had to put Yami's legs into the snow to make her stand for the shots. I'm quite pleased with how this all turned out. :)

Snow days are such fun for the young. When you get older...not so fun. Then again here in LA we had 80 degree temps today...oops...
