Figure Mod Re-Paint Phase Two
Okay so I have done the final coat of Metallic black, and now am into doing the first coat of Gold, Note that there are places where the Gold overlap I will touch these up :D.
These are also last photo's I will take of Mami and Haruka before they are finished! They should be finished hopefully by the end of the week, then I can paint Ami and Miki!
Hope you like so far, painting is nice and relaxing, and a good break from studies, been doing a little bit each day, when my brian needs a rest from assignments!
Doing first coat of gold paint, and as neat as possible around the edges, but will touch up the black again when I have finished painting the Gold. Looks nice so far.
It is very fiddly to paint, I tried to paint Mami's skirt how it was before but I think I need an even smaller finer brush as I just couldn't get it neat enough!
Just some other bits and pieces, Haruka's gloves, rough paint of the top of boots, and Haruka's hair ribbon. Also Mami's hair tie, which had an accident, the tape I put around the base leaked and so she had loads of black paint on her hair, I managed to remove most of it! lol the hazards of re-painting.
Very funky! Don't think I'm brave enough to mod figures like that...
Awesome job on those items. I just wish i could do those on my nendoroid/s.
If you have plans to mod or repaint a nendoroid please do count me in on the ones who will listen, read and follow it like a disciple. XD
lol I am no expert, this is my first time painting a model, lols hmm a nen repaint would be cool, but I don't own any Nen's!!! :P
I have no guts to paint on these PVC parts as most of the gashapons I painted in the past turned sticky.
Don't want to risk the expensive figures.
Unless I'm rich enough to get spares :P
