Weekly UK Anime Releases 17/01/2011
So, this was a little feature that started out on my blog, but never did too well because of the, well, lack of people reading it. Hopefully, it will find a better home here ^_^;;
So without further ado, the weekly anime releases for the UK, starting today:

(RRP: £29.99)

(RRP: £29.99)

(RRP: £12.99)

(RRP: £29.99)

(RRP: £29.99)
Sorry for all those who are offended by the horrible formatting, I'm still getting used to this whole Mirai Gaia platform ^_^;; Any tips would be welcome!
Also, please support my blog, UK Otaku!

got this it is one of my fave anime films and series ever
Really? I've heard so many mixed things from it, I've neglected watching it. Maybe I'll give it a go in the near future...
it is set in the edo period of apns history but it contains no historical facts watso ever lol
The UK finally got Sousei no Aquarion, eh? I never even heard about this series until I played it in SRWZ. You'll definitely enjoy the lulzy gattai voice acting xD
Nah, we've had the series in individual volumes for a while now. This is a budget boxset for those without enough wonga for bonus features :P
icic ^^; Yeah, I went for the budget boxset as well as I learned of the series way too late ><
Hmmm this is useful.. even though I switched to importing bluray anime I nearly always miss out when new anime released over here. Like today I was surprised to see durarara!! on the shelf at hmv yet it came out months ago ^^;
You may have had more notice of your blog site if the address in your F:FM profile wasn't broken :D
And i'll be honest, i've paid no attention to the UK anime DVD market anymore, since most of my purchases are now done at Conventions, which means usually R1 USA DVD's. or if Rightstuf have some form of massive sale.
Not to mention i've been ignoring all the more recent releases (such as Durarara) so that i'm not distracted by watching them, instead of watching the backlog of classic anime shows that's filled 1TB+ of hard drive space (before you complain about it. it's shows that have not seen a US release, no Dub tracks, or just so obscure that nobody would care about it)
Le crud. Who put that s in the url? ;P
Anyways, its a shame the UK industry has lost such a good guy like you, as they really need all the support they can get. Who knows, maybe I can convince you in the weeks to come, where I will continue to update with new releases ;)
FCK YEAH.
I'll probably be buying the Slayers re-release once the price drops a bit. Although I still need to find the money to buy Baccano! and Seirei no Moribito... ;;
