Our Anime Clubhouse
My friend, Mark's basement functions as our unofficial anime club's meeting room. Mark does professional videography and had a theatre size TV and sound system with full surround sound. Mark is an old time radio guy and superb audio engineer and the sound system for the home theatre is as good as it gets. We also shoot the local symphony and the orchestral sound from the system is so good that it's just like being at the concert hall. Mark has been around anime since the '80's and has done graphic arts for Central Park Media and a fanzine in the '90's. You'll see some of the art around the room. The movie on the screen is "Appleseed, Deus Ex Machina" on a BD disk.

That's pretty awesome to know someone whose got a theater room for private use. My anime club uses classrooms and while we have decent viewing rooms for anime showing, it doesn't have proper sound systems. Last semester we had a nicer viewing room with soft chairs but still it doesn't beat private theater specs.
Oh yeah! This HAD to be there!
Wish they had clubs like this when I was a kid. Seemed like nobody was into anime where I lived.
