Illusion Soft X Forgest Characolle きゃらコレ! – Alicesoft Version Review

I haven’t really paid much attention to the various iterations of pose design program from Illusion soft ever since the first Digital Girl Rin since I never had a vested interest on the various models available on the Digital Girl platform; however , when they bring the two heroines from Beat Blade Haruka into play, that’s a whole another story all together! For starter, a number of default images are available for you to choose from to start your scene. On top of that, there are up to 300 charming poses are available for you to choose to start your composition!

And once you have loaded these default poses into the scene, you can modify the skeleton to your desire to compose you own scene!

This is one of the scene I composed based on some of the default skeleton with some modification of my own.

And of course you can change their costume~

After the scene is done, you can save the position of each skeleton individually and reuse them at a later time! Pretty cool feature huh? There are a huge number of articulating points in these new skeleton, bodily movement, accessories and even the costumes themselves can be posed to your liking!

The next module is the dance sequence program, and it’s composed of a a produce mode and a play mode.

Under the produce mode, you can combine a number of dance sequences together, there are many dance steps to choose from and once you hit preview, the dance steps will be shown in a small window in the upper left corner of the game screen and the duration of the chosen dance sequence. You can string a number of different sequences together, the cut over and transition is all handled by the program.

After you have combined all the necessary sequence together, you can switch over to the player mode and have the girl dance to the sequence you have created by adding a song to the play list. Here I have created a small dance sequence to share with everyone~ A few people who have seen my preliminary video mentioned that this looked like one of those iDOLM@STER game or Dream C Club or something? Never played those so I have no way to verify that claim~

And lastly, we also have a Desktop mate module that is similar to Desktop Mate Esk. Illusion have created various versions of desktop mate in the past; however, most of them were rather useless and only served to drain system resource to have a cell shaded character stroll around your desktop for no apparent reason (and it didn’t support dual monitor before! I had to disable a monitor to get it to work!). This version of Desktop mate however, is completely different and actually stay where you put here but you can choose how she look like on screen.

Now you would ask, so what good does that really do? Well there is more to it than that! If you drag a wave music file and drop it onto the girl, she will start dancing to the tune on your desktop! Lily: Otousan, why is this girl dancing on the computer screen?

Me: Oh Lily, this is one of the computer games from Illusion soft I got just after you arrived and didn’t have time to check it out until now.

Lily: (Starring at Haruka dancing with the tune) Otousan, so you like to see pretty girl dancing in front of you?

Me: Well yeah… sure….

Lily: I can dance like her too! (Lily danced to the tune along with Haruka ~)

Me: You such a good girl Lily, here I got some cotton candy for you :D
