Alter Asuka Shikinami Langley
Even if pretty inferior respect the prototype we saw in the photos I don't agree with some people I saw on the web bashing this great figure and I'm pretty astonished that no one (or very few one, so few I never saw a photo of her here)... These are some fast shots I did tonight after uboxing her and I'm really really happy that I bought her.
Will post more photos once I bring the tripod here from my parents' place; the second and third were shoot with flash on, I'm pretty proud of the final product since the source were pretty "flashy" and plain. The first one was shot with no flash but ISO 1000, did some noise correction tweaking and post-production.
Comments are always welcome and critic is strongly encouraged!!!

Still thinking about this one . . . the detail work is really nice though . . . nice purchase . . . can't wait for more photo's to come :3
I was thinking of buying this figurine! I was surprised when I saw it on sale on hobbysearch. Im going to try getting this lovely figure c: <3
Beautiful pictures BTW! <3
Thank you! Once I'll be able to use the tripod they will be even better! Slow exposures make wonders!
Nice pictures you've taken, I had this on preorder but had to cancel, as I'm trying to reduce the size of my collection and save money also. Need to buy a house.
I still think it's a pretty nice figure and will buy at sale price if I can find her cheap. What bad things were being said?
I read some comments saying that the production model was cheaper-looking than the prototype, especially on the face.
I have to admit that the face is somewhat plain, too whitey, the mouth is barely painted and lacks tridimensionality however you notice it is you stick your nose against her face, if you look ALL the figure you can see a great sculpting work and the paint si great, especially the red, very intense, maybe to shiny but I think that the photos taken on the prototype are taken under special light condition and heavily post-produced, for example the hair appear as the shadows are painted on the model (in my photos too) but this is a result of the lighting, when you see her in the box you might scream "OMG SO PLAIN HAIRS!" but trust me, it's a great piece of furniture and will do a great work on every Evangelion-fan collection.
I hope Alter will release soon (but not too soon, maybe in September when I'll have more money) a similar version of Rei and Mari on this line (the writings on the box point to future release since they say this is a serie), I will surely buy them.
After further consideration of HS's "nice price" , I will have to enjoy her from afar. Trying to stop buying and this has been my first test. I Passed! I have enough Asuka figures anyway. :(...
I bought her and I love her! I think she's really well sculpted and detailed.
The thing is very simple, if you're a fan of Asuka and Alter, this combination result is superb. I you're not a fan of her (like me) but you like quality and sexyness on a figure, this one is also a great figure, she has hot angles and an amazing painting.
Do not waste your money, if you have it, get her!!! ^^
Nice figurine, congratulations!
