Dragon Ball Reboot?

My brother just found this interesting bit on IMDb. Directors Kazuaki Kiriya (Casshern, Goemon), and Takashi Yamazaki (Space Battleship Yamato, Ballad, Returner) are apparently working on a Dragon Ball movie with a set release date in 2012.
This is IMDb, so I wouldn't take it too seriously until we get more official word, but what if it is true?
Well this could be very interesting! I didn't totally hated the american version but it didn't really follow the manga or anime at all. This on the other hand might prove that a live action Dragonball movie could be good. I'm pretty sure if they do this it'll be a Dragonball movie and not Dragonball Z. I could be wrong though and I would like to be cause seeing the Saiya-jin spacepods land on a "real" earth would be awesome!

Haven't seen the American version yet, but that one looks not so good to watch. However have seen Casshern, that was really great. I think we can see some good action if there will be a new Dragonball movie.
I think I am the only person who liked Evolution, but then I have never been a hardcore Dragonball fan ^^;; And maybe I might possibly have a thing for Justin Chatwin so...I'm biased.
But seeing that would make me interested in seeing another live action adaptation :)
