A show that ended before it started, had a lot of wasted potential and in the end really made no sense what so ever... discuss.
I actually really liked the anime, though the ending was a bit confusing. Seems like an opener for a second season?
I'm going to be really honest here. I found the character development nice and over time developed a real attachment to just about all of them as the show progressed.
As I was getting towards the end of the series I kept feeling like I was riding a speeding train with the plot getting more intense, major battles were about to be fought and then the train ran out of track. The plot took a totally implausible sharp turn, reality got into a fist fight with alternate universes and everything finished up so abruptly it almost made me think they ran out of budget. Sad panda face.

It's not actually finished, there's actually a few sequels after it. I found it a good series and I can understand how people were annoyed at the ending. But the thing is, it's not finished. Whether or not they choose to do a season 2, is completely unknown now I think. But the good thing is, someone is translating the light novels, which take place after the anime series. The light novels are AWESOME. Some parts like the part explaining the black hero and the All equations maybe a bit much though.

Thanks people for fill in the missing piece of the puzzle. Assuming there is another season coming I feel much better now. It was just sad enjoying a show so much and seeing it end that way, especially given how long its been since a such an engaging and entertaining show has come out.
