your body and soul

Just woke up this morning and started to go through my e-mail. It seems one of my friends was shopping at his local swap-meet and found this particular item. He immediately sent it to me from his I-phone... Just wondering how would this clean your soul? I could understand the body part, it's quite obvious...But, the soul? How? why? Did you ever find any items at your local swap-meet or garage sale that just made you think?

By cleaning your body, you're cleansing your spirit? I have no idea, they write some wacky stuff on these things XD
I don't think you can cleanse your soul with that kind of picture ^^;
Hmm... I hardly go to swap meets or garage sales, so no, I haven't found any weird items yet XD
I think you missed the point. It's a combo package. The package itself will dirty your soul and then the content can be used to clean it afterwards ^^
LOL!
Loll very nice. I think you're completely right, especially given the diction usage of cleanse rather than clean.
That could work, I suppose ^^;
Between your legs.
SHOWER MADE MORE FUN NOW! lol OuO
That certainly is an interesting find.
Cleansing soul aka dolphin waxing?
Would love to know which country this photo was taken at so I can pick it up on DC.
Orange county california, USA.
Thanks - do you know if that was found in the equivalent of a 100 yen shop or a standard supermarket?
it's more like a Flee Market, where vendors get together and sell literally a bunch of random things... just a nice man selling cleaning products.. It's only a dollar ..
Hmmm. I'm willing to bet that the answer to this question is already within your mind and experience, Danny! Surely it's related to the special appreciation for bathing in Japanese culture. Since body and soul are essentially inseparable during our lives in this universe, cleaning one's body must certainly have a positive, cleansing effect on the soul as well, right? Also, from looking at this, I think it might be an "akasuri" Korean-style washcloth that's made of a semi-rough fabric that cleans *very deeply*, removing all dead skin cells. The process makes your skin a bit red which is why it's called "akasuri" in Japan (Akai = "red"). After using it, however, your skin is shockingly smooth, soft and clean! This is, I think, a soul-cleansing experience. Hmmm. So how's that for a response? ^^
Anyway, regardless what this product is really all about, I LOVE the packaging. I would definitely buy it!
Oh yea, come to cleanse my body & soul~~~
"Nylon towel"

「ナイロンタオル」「垢すりタオル」are also true in Japan.

But I think it's not popular name.
Most of us call it only "Body washing tosel (体を洗うタオル)" XD
Body washing tosel → Body washing towel ○| ̄|_
nah, we dont get such whacky one liners on products here. Relax your soul. lol.
Ah. I've been using one of those for a long time now. :D
If you haven't ever tried using one, here are the basic instructions:
1. Rub soap/body wash into scrubbing towel.
2. Rub towel until thick lather forms.
3. Wash body with scrubbing towel (don't forget to clean the hard to reach spots. :D)
First time users may find it to be painful, but eventually you'll get used to using one. :D I think of it as a glorified back scratcher. :D
well product always exaggerate their effect...
no don't give the manufacturer the idea next time they make official soap of K-ON! or hair gel ...
So random.
