Yes, there's QC issue in this Masterpiece & how it'll holds out in your hand depends on how you handle it.
Sure, panels might fall apart, parts might not align properly & spoilers gets scratched. No toy/figure is perfect.
The robot & alt mode is deliciously gorgeous. They resembles the G1 cartoon very well.
The Hasbro's version will have a Targetmaster, but no trailer. It'll be cheaper than Takara's (duh), but will the issues & problem in this line be resolved?
Since this is my first Masterpiece, I couldn't compare it with the other Masterpiece line. If anything mine seems OK when I handle it & I'm very happy playing with it. Thats what counts, right?

The Movie is the only Transformers G1 that I know & remember. The TV series to me is a blur.
It's the one movie I have watched the most in my life.

Maybe when the hasbro one comes out I can buy that and hunt down the triler or a broken Rodimus for cheap
this is bad ass, I got Takara MP Megatron and Grimlock but have nevere transformed them. Only my hasbro Optimus Prime has been removed from his box.
Grimlock is awesome, you should totally open him up and play around. Or at least snag a Hasbro version. Megatron, well, he's got issues. The arm broke off mine.
I'm gonna get at least the Hasbro release of Rodimus. Hearing that parts break off has scarred me away from getting Takara's, I had my Megatron break already.
Any hints as to the next MP with him? Besides the "final" MP-01, of course. Really hoping for Galvatron...
Looks okay. Was never a big fan of Rodimus (The character), but the toy looks decent.
