broken elbow joint help please
sooo yeah sadly aya had an accident
and i'm pretty sad about it.
her elbow joint broke and is hanging by a tiny bit of plastic.
i really dunno what to do and they don't sell replacements. (unless you live in japan)
x.x
any of you helpful people who have experienced this please i need advice on how i can fix her.
i'm to scared to use glue cause i feel like it might damage the figure. x.x
since her joint isn't flesh toned i might have a problem looking for a perfect white joint for her to use.
so if any one is willing to give me DIY tips i'm all ears :3 here are some photos

the girls visiting aya to see how she's coping

I temporarily put in some faber castell Tack- it into the lower inner joint till i buy something to permanently fix it.

i was able to pull out the stuck joint using a small screw and pliers. now i just need a white joint and she'll be her pretty self again

a white joint ? gonna be hard
lucky i mecha musumised this body already
yeah i know. x.x my option would be to buy a figma and exchange the part or use super glue and leave the arm in a permanent position. or use some blue tack.
I love Figmas, but seriously, this is why I don't go too gaga over them. Weak joints.
First order of business would be to push the joints out of their sockets.
Now, I think the forearm doesn't have a hole running through it, so you might have to drill a hole through one side. If you can just yank the joint out, that would be so much better. Hot water will help make the plastic a bit softer. Same with the joint end in the upper arm.
The joint piece should be able to seperate in to two pieces, so that makes gluing the broken piece on easier.
Honestly though, you need some really good modelling glue for that to stay on, Mighty Bond, Bulldog, and the like won't cut it, especially if you plan to play with her. I broke my Rin's shoulder playing with her, but I was able to fix her up with little problems. Just make sure to clean the pieces well, fit them as perfectly as you can, then let the glue cure for a few days before you try putting the joiuts back in.
Ouch man, considering your Figma's an LE... Good luck with her.
okay, thanks for the tip and yeah i know it sucks coz shes a LE.
i'm uber careful with my figures. my friend accidentally twisted her arm to much im guessing.
heh swap em with HG 144 gundam arms n legs
Nana? Is that you?
I think this vid might help. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W1-0ZZhU2P8
If you could dis assemble the other joint, you could make a copy.
The exact same thing happened to mine the day I got her. There was nothing I could do to fix it so I had to buy another one. :0/
You could try using a needle or something like that to get the broken joint out of her arm. I tried it too but I couldn't get it out. If you manage to get it out, you could probably use a Kagome elbow joint because her's is white too. I ended up just selling mine to someone for parts to get some of my wasted money back.
I hope you have better luck fixing it than I did...
yeah i was thinking of changing her upper arm with another character in white. :P
and i will try to take out the peg by then.
6mm Revoltech Joints will do the trick.

or if you want Strength, the Kotobukiya HIPS joint

You'll need to make them white though...
If you get the HIPS, some Matt White paint Spray will work.
that happened to my mugi ... but yours being a limited one ... i can imagine it hurt .. best bet is to use the pin and superglue method
yeah it does. after i collect my last 2 k-on figmas i'll be able to get a replacement for the joint. :3
