Yes. The box was really that blurry in real life. It wasn't a solid like crisp box.

yeah- box was a little dented. disappointed given that I paid an arm and a leg for shipping. Seriously.
I would be pretty disappointed too. I've seen EMS shipping run almost $50 for a figure with a box around that size. For that price you'd think they would at least use a big enough box to put some padding in!

You payed 5960 yen for EMS? HS with half off shipping was 2350 yen so full EMS shipping would've been 4700 yen. Which store did you buy it from?
amiami. which was why i was so surprised- i even asked them about it.
Ya, definitely ask them. I even got some paper packing inside my box since it wasn't such a tight fit. Shipping should not have been more expensive then my. If you still have the box and the EMS slip check how much kg the whole thing weighted?
With EMS they really should have used a bigger box and use packaging...
Vinn- as an update- I did e-mail AmiAmi and Ricky over there was really cool. They were very apologetic and were awesome. Very happy with them!
Amiami shipped mine SAL parcel 4770 yen. The box they packaged it in was double (you could literally fit 2 Fate boxes in it) the size with tons of stuffing.
hm. wonder if I should have gone SAL.
I bought mine from AmiAmi via EMS with a few other items and there was padding with mine...
Anyway, glad she's not damaged eh? =)
yeah, totally. I e-mailed Ricky and mentioned that folks on the site were a little surprised that there was no padding.

Thanks! 13x19 print in the background with the lighting effects filter in PS (photoshop). Working out the kinks though- tried it with Monohime but can't quite get it right.
