Japan Mid-Sept Loot. Figma Drossel mini-review.

Just got my loot today after a whole week of waiting. Though I must admit, this week really flew by so quickly. Perhaps it was my nervousness about the result of my University's Report Card due out this Tuesday. I'm pretty sure I failed Algebra (though I told my parents to expect such since Math is just my waterloo).
Ok, back to the topic! My uncle acquired Figmas Meiya and Drossel for my birthday when he visited Japan and came home just this morning. According to him, he searched all the famous shops around Tokyo and failed to find Drossel. It took him nearly half the day to find a certain shop in Madarake which had only one Drossel. I myself expected that finding Drossel would be a challenge. The fact that GSC had to announce a re-shipment after only a few months means that she must be so damn popular. I wonder how much worse this hassle would be after the two MGLN Lolis are released!
One word about Drossel and Meiya. "WOW!"
Despite their seemingly extravagant and robust designs, these two must be (in my opinion) the most articulate Figmas I've ever seen! I'm able to officially prove this after I've seen Drossel-sama do a full hand-support pose. I had to make her do this to show that she too suffers from the hand-falling defect. I've already contacted GSC on this through support@goodsmile.jp and CS customer@goodsmile.jp. Could anyone tell me what to expect after I've contacted them? My dad said that if GSC really does offer replacement parts, they should have International Warranty, otherwise, I would have to pay the shipping fee.
*About the picture*
As Drossel temporarily awoke, together with Meiya busting her way out of the box, Drossel immediately grabbed her arm. Meiya rushed toward Drossel's box and sliced her way through Drossel's Manual. (Meiya likes to slice through things quite a lot)
Meiya shifted from page to page, hoping to find a cure to Drossel's arm defect. After a while, Drossel froze and went back into comma. She's once again deactivated.

Congrats of your Drossel.
I got my Drossel from Otacute.com (with a kill steal price, if I may add XD)
2nded!
I heard they do offer replacement parts for free...
Awww... lucky. Though I've read from a previous post that GSC offers direct shipment of replacement parts. is this true? Well, I really hope so... otherwise.... Drossel is just SUCH a huge waste. She's the best Figma I've ever... met? XD
GSC offer this service. Don't worry :)
Phew... That's one HUGE relief! Well then, I guess Drossel really WILL be the best Figma as of date (as long as her new arm/hopefully torso arrives).
But I heard that it'll take at least a month for them to ship... Hmm... Perfection can wait! XD
Hot Water my friend. soak it for a while till it get's lose.
I'm afraid that wouldn't actually work. Her arm is near falling-point...
I don't quite understand, what is the hand-falling defect? does her hand slip out of the arm?
Unlike the regular Figma, Ojou's hand connector is peg based, not ball-joint-end based... Thus there're times the hands may get loose and fall out easily...
I see, I thought all figmas hands were peg based... but my drossel has no problems with this and I've been switching hands countless times. the hands do have a problem of slipping out from the hand holder provided though.
Same here... But I have my Figma transports to hold them so no problemo... ^_~
The Ball joint (the armpit-ball-joint, not the bicep-peg) is very very tightly connected to her torso, meaning it can't be moved forwards and back. You can't risk and put even the slightest of force since a pretty big chuck of the mold is missing.
yes, I'm aware of the badly molded and stiff shoulder joint problem that plagues many members drossels. When you said "hand-falling" I thought there was a new problem with her hands, I guess you meant her arm then? Luckily my drossel is only missing a slight chunk of plastic on her joints. And from doing so many break dancing poses her joints have also loosened up quite a bit. Though she has suffered some paint chips, scrapes, and cracking. I fear I may have to repaint her.
Wow, he went through a lot of trouble to get her for you! I had no idea she'd be as popular as she is, actually. I'm the same way with math (I don't think it's anything to be ashamed of, if you fail one class in your entire life, if there are circumstances beyond your control.)
