Yukinos transformation is almost complete.
The main reason I adopted Yukino was that I had plans of her becoming Alicia Florence from Aria the Animation.
It all started, as most expensive things do, by looking at Ebay late one night. LOL I saw the 1/3 scale Aria uniform on Sale by Mimiwoo - About $130 later it was on it's way to be and I started looking for my girl.
I settled on Yukino as she had a very good face sculpt for Alicia-san with those big gentle eyes. I also found a fantastic looking wig from Leeke World and the color is perfect for what I want. I got the wig and dress in the other day and tonight was the first time I had a chance to let Yukino try it on so I wanted to share some pics with everybody:
I only got to spend a few minutes on her wig before taking these shots so please forgive the mess.
I just ordered some water wax from Volks and hope to have her hair completed next week some time.
I was surprised at the quality of the piece, even though it's mostly white they have a inner white lining for protection.
The shoes are a type of foam/rubber material. It's not "perfect" but I don't mind it at all.
They even have nice zippers in the back so the shoes are easy to get on/off.
Even her hat fits good - as this wasn't a Volks uniform I was worried about the hat fitting.
The outfit fits her fine, it's perfect around her hips but I'm not too sure if a DDdy would fit in it. the chest area has a little extra room so I may try the dress on Sakura one day and see how it fits her L bust.
Awww, she wanted me to do her hair now. I told her I think she looks pretty sexy with her hair down, which is true. She then seemed ok with waiting for me to style it later. :D

Lovely. And Yumiko finds it quite amusing your girl's named Alicia. After all, that's her first given name. "Lots of Alicias, not a lot of Yumikos in Hollywood. I want to stand out a little."
haha - I really like the name Yumiko and she's been Yumiko for a few weeks now so I don't think she will completely become Alicia.
Even cooler. My girl doesn't paddle gondolas, but then again, we have a Venice, California out here. ^___^

Thanks Salica. I'm very happy the outfit worked out and fit her. I was afriad something wouldn't work right, especially worried about her hat. Thankfully it's a great fit.

I would try dry felting. Not quite sure if you could do it with cotton wool instead of wool, but it's convenient way of getting critters done.

As an Aria fan, really love how you're transforming Yukino into Alicia. With the DDH02 head and that wig, it's coming together perfectly and the outfit looks really fabulous, spot on for Aria Company's summer gear.

Thanks. I really love her hair, it's almost a shame to put put it into her long braid. Her hair really feels "silky soft".

This weekend I get to go pickup a new Leeke World wig for Manami that has TWO long braids on it! I can't wait to see how that works out.
I'll second Zakuro's comment! ^_^ She looks so nice in this outfit! I'm glad the Mimiwoo setup worked so well for you. It really does look like it's made well and fits her nicely. And her new wig is great as is. I can bet it will be even cooler when you get it all styled properly...
I'm still worried about doing her eyes (Optical ones) hehe - I think it will really be a good change for her.
I've done almost every other thing to a Dollfie modification-wise except the eyes. I've swapped bodies, swapped heads, done neck mods, etc. But I have not been brave enuff to mess with adding eyes yet. Since you can really have them look off if you aren't careful, I fear making one of my girls look bad and not being able to properly fix it. But one of these days I'll want Mai's default eyes back in so I'll have to man up and do it then. ^_^
I wish you luck when you change Yukinos to blue. I know she will look wonderful with them!

Thanks. Yea, the fit is perfect. The dress says it's from "Cherry Milk", not sure if that's a line from Azone but I think it is.

Thanks richuu. I've been busy over the last week or so redoing my room but now I'm close to being done and I've setup a dedicated spot for my dolls! I hope to be able to finish her last steps like braiding her hair and new eeys soon.
