'Dead Island' Trailer

For all you zombie killers out there, looks like another zombie slasher game in the works.
Takes place on a resort island on Papua New Guinea, where apparently a viral outbreak has occurred.
So far it look like the lead is a female character, and may focus on hand weapons rather than firearms? (remains to be seen)
While gameplay graphics looks to be around the standard, the game trailer is what got me interested.
It's quite emotional, and artistic... for a zombie game.

How touchy...it cannot happened in real world ^Y^ (nice game too but look same in Dead rising or some gory zombie games)

From what i can remember about stuff i read awhile ago about this, its a survival horror, zombiesll hide in vents and round conrners and jump you, weapons break and crap, like a mix of dead space and dead rising really. Though that may have changed drastically, because i read that quite awhile ago :P
Oh and the damage you do will be like real life, bonesll break correctly, skin will tear in the right place etc, stuff like that, but again, couldve been scrapped.
TTATT....I will not vacation there.
Still hope there's a katana... or an equivalent to that. "Screw guns, knives never runout of ammo..... beter yet screw knives, swords have better range!" lol
Yeah. There are screenshot and art of the lady above with a katana on the site, so it's probably her default weapon.
Again, from an article i read awhile ago, they said they were going to try and make guns incredibly scarce to enhance the horror, no popping zombies from half a mile away, gonna have to get down and dirty ;) Probably, as before, scrapped though.

Just need to get a hold of that trailer and piece it together, reserve the some parts, re-cut it and it such.... may look cool. XD

There was also a video of a guy who couldn't bare watching it and had a go at the country Technland was based in. :O
I've watched the trailer at least 4 times by now and I still can't get enough of it. It's really well-made in terms of drama (2:34, family videos at the end) and directing (the rewind style is working great with this one). I Hope that the game will capture some of the drama and atmosphere of this trailer.
I'm not much of a survival horror fan, but this looks pretty interesting. I like the contrast of the familiar holiday setting and the zombie violence, as opposed to the usual crumbling, post-apocalyptic city or whatever.
The trailer is fantastic as well.
I lv this kind of game! Is a total buy for me!
