Finally! A DSLR!

Posted by Berto [www]

Since I like to take pictures with my collections, so... I finally have my own DSLR.

Too bad I don't know any of the settings yet(and also too lazy to read the manuals), so I just do it in 'macro mode', and 'no-flash mode'
But I'll learn it as the time goes by..

And these pics are just my own experiment, so don't say anything about the background.

When I got mine I just quickly flipped to learn what all the buttons and menus do. After that I learned everything from trail and error, the internet and other people's exif data.

Anyways, congratz which camera did you get?

So what make/model is it, and what lenses did it come with? I might be able to provide some tips.

You could probably lower the iso since some photos looks kind of over exposed

I suggest that you read the manual. There are many things that you can learn just by reading the manual itself especially since this is your first D-SLR.

Also now that you have one, try to look up books that teaches what LIGHTING, ISO, SHUTTER SPEED and LAW OF THIRDS is. It'll help you a lot aside from experience.

Kinda confusing, some of my friends told me that doing this not by the manual, but I think you're right.
And yeah, the ISO and shutter speed stuffs, will do of course.

      He? Law of thirds?
