Mio iPhone wallpaper

Here's my Mio wallpaper. When I had a RAZR, I picked a wallpaper with Nagato Yuki playing guitar, and I created another version of it for the iPhone. The next picture that struck my fancy also happened to have a guitar, and, well... since it is a music player, the requirement for all subsequent photos has been a 2D girl with guitar. Perhaps when I get my next phone (upcoming-revision iPhone or Android, hmm), this will change.
Danny suggested uploading mobile wallpapers, and since I actually have some advice for iPhone users, I decided to upload mine.
One problem I had when I first put a wallpaper on my iPhone was the ugly, ugly dithering the iPhone forces upon all images that are imported to its photo gallery from iPhoto (or whatever you Windows folk use). My beautiful wallpapers were turned horrid.
I haven't found a general solution for photos imported into the gallery, but getting around this with the wallpaper is relatively easy: I upload my picture to the web, and then save it from Safari. Ta-da! Beautiful wallpapers.

Ack, repeated text. The UI for composing posts doesn't seem very clear... I didn't expect "View Post" to mean "publish". Or maybe there was something else I missed?
I think "save" means publish
That's what I figured, as well, though it didn't give me the option to edit the image comments after saving... but after saving, adding a comment, and choosing to view, it was locked. I'm going to tread more carefully next time.
I hate that "optimizing" of images as well. Most of the time I put my wallpapers in a folder and upload in iTunes.
Whenever I need to add new wallpapers, I do the same thing that you do and put it up online and download through Safari.
As for putting up high resolution images for the gallery, I really haven't found a good solution for that. It's really annoying because occasionally I like to add manga pages and they become completely unreadable.
Since my device is jailbroken, I do use a combination of iComic and iFile to get by though. Quite sad that I have to resort to a third party solution for something this stupid. Forced compression sucks. >:(
Nice wall of Mio 'w'
I also tried to upload a picture to my bro's iphone (been borrowing since parent always nag me about having an extra handphone -w-;; ) using the iPhoto and turned horribly bad :(
So I tried the safari and it works properly good :3
Oh can I have the link for Mio's wall above, its really gorgeous (>w<)
