Mecha Monday 30

Posted by Shadowind

This weeks series is more of a model line and less of an anime. Frame Arms, to my understanding has a manga out (somewhere), but is more focused on a model line with a base frame design that you can attach outer arm variants to.

I wanted one of these, but I don't really have the time to paint all those little details on Kotobukiya's kits. Not to mention that it was a little more pricey than I expected.

Being an original mech line, I do hope that it'll be taken further. So far it's been reworks of the Gourai and Stylet (was the blue one called the Stylet?)...

The kits from this line are really well done, but the first one, the SA-16 Stylet, was freakin' terrible. Kotobukiya sort of fixed it with the Khanjar variant, and now the Rapiere, which looks gorgeous and kinda girly.
