Just got my car back from hit & run incident.

not much car related posts likely so i am gonna start one. As you can see, the car looks good as new!!!!!! well, few weeks ago, after coming out of the supermarket, i saw a huge scratch on my front bumper and part of my body kit was chiped off! some random person ( don't know who) decided to hit my car and run away. luckily, i wasn't in the car so no one was hurt. if i saw who did it, i would of drag that person out of his/her car. so in the end, i had to go through my insurance company and pay a deductable of $300 dollars. they estimated the damages to be around $1200 bucks, but the bill ended up being $1780 since i went to an expensive shop to get it fixed and these guys specialize in mercedes so they can get parts pretty fast. it is $300 bucks out of my pocket no matter what so might as well find the best. my buddy works at that shop so he also fixed all the scratches and dings i had which i caused since my car is lowered. so i scrape the bottom once a while. i gotta thank him for hooking me up. in the end, the $300 dollars was well worth it because if i were to fix all the scratches and dings that i made, it would of cost me way more than $300. so in a way, i gotta thank that person for hitting the front of my car since i was planning to fix it myself anyways and saved some money. but fxxk you for not writing down your info after you hit me so i didn't have to pay the $300 deductable if you admitted it was your fault.

i plan on itasha-ing my engine cover. probably do a saber lily or something. what you guys think? if i had a japanese car, i would def itasha my whole car. gonna pick up a SUV sometime beginning of next year. probably a mercedes R class since it is the only decent looking mini van out there.

here's a bonus vid of my car in action haha

    Good to hear you're all fixed up... sucks about that loser who just hit and run.

    I'm planning to itasha my car once I pass my 'N' test. I worry about the examiner not letting me go with the test with the attention getter car.

          yea, there is nothing to worry about. just make sure the car is not ridiculously loud and lowered to the ground then you should be fine.

    Sorry about what happened D;
    It sure sucks when somebody scratches your car but won't pay for it.

    Your car looks nice, and I don't think Itasha-ing it would really suit the car itself. Right now it has a nice classy look so I don't think you should ruin that.

    Wow. That's a nice car. Hitting a car like yours would be terrifying. If I was the person who did it and it happened here in the U.S. I would assume the person is going to try and sue me for all the money I have or will earn in the future. I am always amazed that there are people who can afford to buy cars like this; I doubt it will ever be within my means. Heh! Nice job! Glad it was all fixed up nicely!

      yea, i am pretty happy since it looks new right now. i had lots of scratches and dings caused by me before hahaha. well, if the person reports him/herself in, all they gotta do is pay the $300 deductable and receive a slight increase in their insurance for the next year. it is not too bad. ofcoz, if they can get away with it, why not.

    thanks for the comments and concerns guys. only way that i can find who hit my car is if there were any witnesses during the time of the incident.
