Momohime has been done a lot. But hey, I just got my new 7D and 100mm macro lens. I have to try it out on something! XD.
Some of them aren't absolute blacks. Didn't want to lose all details.
I'll be setting up a new white light box soon but I haven't had a chance. Enjoy.
(Oh- and I know I have to return some e-mail to a certain someone- this week has been crazy. Our two season opener bike races happened and well... just didn't have time to be an otaku.)

I recently began to play 'Muramasa: the demon blade' and I fell in love with Momohime instantly. Very nice shots!
Yup- I picked a copy up too. Too little time to play it though!
The darker lighting is really interesting, and sets this set apart from most other photoshoots of this figure I've seen.

Thanks! I wonder if I should change up the exposure a little to brighten her up. It's all in RAW so I can do it.
I think the pics look great the way they are. If you were to lighten the pics up a bit, I don't think the colors would be as saturated or vivid and may look a little washed out. As is, the colors are a nice contrast to the background.
Appreciated- I agree- they may wash out. In some instances I do that on purpose but I think in this case, part of the joy is her color.
I think she's going to catch a cold in that dress :3

back again to praise your work. I've always wanted a macro lens for my XSI but they seem to be quite costly and for the amount of time that I'd be using it, I just can't justify that purchase right now. When I'm in my new residence and have more space to enjoy my figures I'll be sure to get one though.
