Mr Bushido's Customized Exia
My Entry for the Bandai World Gundam Competition.
I'd always thought his Ahead's head looks more like a helmet than an actual mecha head, mainly because of its huge size. So 1 + 1 = 1. No, that's not a typo >_< The Ahead's pretty much suffered the same fate as Jetfire did in Transformers2
I think it looks fiercer in crimson than it does originally. The paint scheme is based off the Shin Musha Gundam, with Gundam Markers. Hence, the brushed effect and paint chips...
Not entirely a hard mod to do, most of it are just glueing parts together, except for the head. The insides of the Ahead's head had to be removed, and one had to trim the back of Exia's head and regularly do some test fitting every now and then. Cut my finger once while doing all that. Ouch.
One could only guess how much ass Graham could kick if he actually managed to pilot a Gundam. I mean, he did gave Setsuna a hard time before being defeated (Setsuna cheated and you know it! XD)
I live in Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur to be exact. I've been building Gunpla since I was 13 (that would be 1997), and I'd like Bandai to make a 1/100 MG of Nobel Gundam ^^;
-I realise that i'm suppose to mention just one, but it'd be great to have a 1/100 MG Astray Redframe+Mars Jacket and a 1/100 MG Seravee Gundam as well >_<

EDIT: Brightened up some image because they were too dark. The first 2 were intentional, though.
Oh dear, I forgot to readjust that piece after posing it initially!! orz
If you notice, the gold "chest display" seemed to be a bit dull. That's because I tried to mixed in some Neon Green paint with the gold so I could do some cool UV-lit pix in the dark. Sadly to say, I failed.
Ran out of metallic red marker ink in the middle of painting. I had to make to with Gold+Clear red, producing some rather crappy brushed metal effect on the shin guards.
Screwed up when applying the water decal here, or as I would call it, "Battle Damaged". Haha. Anyone here thought that Bushido's Ahead's Jetpacks looked like PS3s? LOL.
The backpack could still be removed and replaced with Exia's normal GN Drive.
The wire hair is probably the coolest part of the Bushido customs.
Tried to do a blinded eye, but I'm just too lazy to do scratches on a 1/144, so I just paint black over the eye.

Too dark can't see
Yeah, I went off for lunch after I made the initial post. The photos are all up now.
you should really take your photos in better lighting because alot of your photos are too dark, blurry, or out of focus. try outdoor pictures in the shade or try using a lamp. your exia looks good but hard to really see all the details from these pics.

The colours look almost look like Gurren Lagann ^^;

you should try to paint using spray or enamel/acrylic.

could barely see them pics. at least half of them is blurry. but i do like the concept.
Sorry about that >_< I can't really tell how blurry the pictures might appear to the rest of the world on my old 17" LCD, where they seemed to look okay, save for the obvious out-of-focus closeups ^^;
Most impressive~! Never know Bushido's head can fit on Exia...
Actually, it doesn't. Alot of trimming had to be done on both heads before they fit in.
Cool mod...though the painting could have been better though. ^^

the bashing of the kits are fluid enough.

this will happen IF graham really captured Exia by the end of S1.
If that happened, we would have this as an official kit and poor Gundam 00 would only have one real GN Drive.
I thought it was 1/100 with hard mod. But its nice seeing how your combination on this kits. There is still month away from the event so its best you get the kits with better photo with lighting.
