Wolfheinrich’s World 2nd Anniversary Giveaway Contest Result
It has been over 2 weeks since I have announced the Wolfheinrich’s World 2nd Anniversary Giveaway Contest, and I have to apologize for the delay in the result announcement, as most of you are probably aware, I was very busy in migrating my blog to my new host and new domain, it was a lot of work… I kid you not! Anyway, those of you who have sent in your contest submission and have “followed my explicit instructions” (those who did not follow my instructions were disqualified), I have tallied your result and have selected the four winners. Now, let’s take a look at the 25 pictures I have selected based on my “personal preferences”, there are no particular fixed criterias, it could be the particular daughter who was in the picture, it could be the artistic value of the picture, it could be the “service level” of the picture, or the overall farming and composition of the picture, etc. As I have mentioned in my DD Fate T. Harlaown photo shoot blog post, I can find so many flaws in pictures that were taken over 6 months old that’s not even funny. In any event, the contest was just for a little entertainment but some of you were able to guess my preferences with relatively good precision! Oh, and I forgot to mention before the contest began, even if your guess weren’t exactly correct, you will still get partial credit for picking my favorite 25 but at a discount relative to the position on your list. I will post the tallied result at the end…
Now, it shouldn’t be rocket science to figure out Lily has at least 49% of my heart :) And it shouldn’t come as a surprise that Lily is going to dominate the result~

One question: Am I allowed to pick the prize I prefer? If yes, I'd loooove to have Feena, because she's one of my favourite characters. (Only if it's okay for the other 3 winners, of course). I don't have a Dollfie doll and I am not at all familiar with Gundam and Mechas, so I hope to get one of the girl figures. (Preferably Feena, haha!):)

@puppy52 Kiriha and Lily are about equal favorites to me, it's just that I have take a lot more photos of Lily recently and I have become more demanding on my work than ever before, I can find so many flaws in photos I have taken 6 months ago have so many flaws in them right now that's not funny anymore.

Congrats to the winners! Heh, I'm not surprised my own correlation was low though--I was trying to be informative more than trying to win. XD The artist within me is obstinate and will not back down! Still, even though I put some in different slots a lot of the ones I thought were great did still make your final list, which I'm glad to see. *bricked for arrogance* And congrats again on the anniversary and the domain migration!

I did try to judge my pictures based on artistic value but there is the other voice inside of me that want high "service" level pictures XD
Haha! See, I have the opposite issue--like I should be "above" the fanservice or something, even when the service is subtle and actually adds to a project aesthetically. Which actually bit me in the ass the other night when I was animating and realized I was ignoring some great poses just because they were sexier than I had previously imagined this particular character being. ^^;
Well fan service is not necessarily a bad thing, as long as it's done properly :P Remember at least half of the population is male and we love "service" XD the more the better!
Heh, true! I think part of the problem is that here in the states there's still a certain stigma of the Animation Age Ghetto--or, in other words, a lingering idea that if it's animated it's for kids, and while that idea is going away, it's going away VERY slowly. Ergo, in the back of my mind I'm worried about overdoing the fanservice for fear it might be too much and keep me from getting an animation job eventually. -_-; But yeah, in this particular instance, it's extremely subtle, so I really don't know why I was fighting it so much. XD

@phossil Yup, I was quite surprised by the similarity of our preferences. I had to make some tough decisions to put the first solo Kiriha on the 4th, got to do something to make it up to her somehow... perhaps another bottle of champagne? lol
It was either Lily or Kiriha going to end up in the first place, it just so happened that the Lily's pic has a much higher service level lol and the Trinity of Sabers was just too eye catching to ignore.
As far as the prize is concern, it's actually up to you to choose between Gundam and Airi, your choice~
I will pick the Gundam for a change. Not too much a Gundam fan but the other prizes were chosen and I never had a gundam kit before.
