Figma Misaka Mikoto
While a figma of the famous level 5 electromaster was inevitable, it’s nice to see that GSC and MaxFactory have gone to such great lengths to accurately portray everyone’s favourite Railgun whilst still allowing wonderful posability.

Mikoto herself is an exclusive figma that came with the recent Index PSP game. As a fighting game it’s pretty easy to get into without having to understand any of the dialogue, and while the combat itself never reaches Street Fighter or Guilty Gear levels of complexity, it’s possible to string together combos with each character having their own unique “overdrive” finishing move.

The character roster (minus the few unlockables who have yet to make an anime appearance)
Another interesting point of note is the partner system that allows you to call in another fighter to help you out, and the more points you get in fights, the more character relationships will level up, with the highest level being 5, thus allowing access to stronger partner attacks.

While for many fans the game will be seen simply as a nice extra to the figure, it certainly is quite lot of fun, especially for fans looking to recreate epic fights from the series.
Well enough with the game... let's take a look at the main attraction!

Nothing like an ecchi text message to let someone know how you feel...

"Huh? Why do I look so flat?!"

Ojou-sama stare~

One of the figure’s accessories is an electricity effect made of soft, clear blue plastic. As it is easy to place around Mikoto’s arms or legs it allows various dynamic poses to be recreated with ease.

Nice to see Mikoto's pants don't get in the way of her flexibilty

While I really like the inclusion of a highly detailed Gekota phone and school bag, as far as exclusives go, the figure is quite lacking in accessories. The inclusion of an iron sand whip sword would have been much appreciated by fans, but alas, it seems we’ll have to make do with the the two railgun hands included with the figure for action poses.

Quick play around with the computer fan system lighting. I should probably dust more often...
Overall, despite the minor flaw, I personally consider this figma to be a must buy for any major Railgun fans. The only problem of course is that it currently may be hard to find her at a reasonable price due to her exclusive nature, and as a result she’s probably going for outrageous prices on certain bidding sites.

A Certain Black Rock Shooter has entered the fray! Who will reign victorious?
Apparently the upcoming Railgun PSP game will be a visual novel and will come with a Kuroko Shirai figma. Let’s just hope it comes with slightly more accessories ^^;

Very awesome find. Been hoping to get my hands on the game, but haven't bothered to place a order. I liked the last photo ^_^
It's well worth the purchase, even if it's only to recreate Touma's various epic face punches. ^^;
My BRS figma hasn't gotten much attention recently so I figured she deserved a cameo.
Lol, think that is plenty reason enough. Also contemplating getting a Misaka figurine, but also want a Itsuwa figurine as well. Hope they want one soon. :D
