Just a little art, along with a question.
How many of you out there are into maids? I personally really like them. Which leads me to the question: If you like maids, do you ever get made fun of for it? Sometimes I do, and I wondered if anyone else out there did as well.
Not really a fan of maids. Can't say I dislike them, but I much prefer a girl in a normal outfit or some sort of school uniform.

I like maids but only if the designs are not overly decorated or complex... maids should look like maids, not like gothic lolita xD

Yeah, like maids, not gothic (a style I never liked) or modernised with short skirt and revealing oppai or anything like that. There is one real type of maid and that's it. This is not a place to be creative ^^

I can only answer for myself and well... they are certainly not bad ^^;
However sometimes I get the idea that some people love any girl just as long as she wears any kind of maid costume. I'm not like that. The girl and the costume needs to meet a certain standard and then it's good :D
I found the simple solution: nobody knows -> nobody can talk bad about it with the aim to hurt or insult me.
I love maid costumes.They look so cute to me.Trying to make one like Mikurus except with shorter sleeves.I think those are called the normal french Maid costumes.Some Gothic lolita ones are over the top and I dont really like those too much are really fanservicey ones.

Almost Every Otaku loves Maid but I never ever made fun of them .
If you want to take Pictures of Maid just Kindly ask them because most of the Maids are very Shy ^_^ .

Enough of my Garage kits are maid oriented.. so you would think I'm a huge fan. I'm not a huge fan, but I like them. Guess it has a lot to do with how complex the costume is..
I like all types of maids, but I prefer more simple maid outfits. (Like Maria from Hayate no Gotoku)

Me too until I was at the hospital and all of them were... well not up to code and they treated me like sh*t. Only one of them acted nice towards me and then she told me that I have the same education as her husband's best friend. I can't help thinking about that experience when I see a nurse and it's not interesting anymore. I always knew the whole nurse concept would be an illusion, but reality killed the illusion T_T
For the record: I didn't try anything funny, which would explain why they acted like the hated me. It's like they hated me from the moment I arrived (in bed, too ill to even sit in a chair. I almost passed out in the waiting room) and then they talked about how healthy a young man should be and that they would have rejected me if they could.
I don't like nurses... Last time when I was in the hospital, they man handled me so I perferred a male nurse. NO INJURED GUY WITH A STITCHED UP MOUTH AND missing his rib muscles and who is swelled up on the face to be man handled by a nurse and is kept up with alot of morphine.

Only if the chara itself is adorable.... so yea, i don't think it's the maid that entice me, but the character itself... I guess I prefer miko after all.... XD
btw, i'm pretty sure that's not how u pronounce, "onii-chan" is that what u're trying to imply?? I think the one u wrote is read "On'i-chiyan" ^^;

Maids are fine with me, course I have a maid that follows me around to calm me down. (Seriously, she's small but she can restrain me when someone makes me act like Kensei Muguruma)

It has a headdress, but I'm not super-fond of it. And it came with blue-and-white striped knee-highs which are a recipe for staining. XP
Without the pinafore, it's gorgeous too. I have some pix to upload where I basically turned it into a Victoriana/Steampunk outfit. It's too short to be accurate but it sure is pretty.
