If your wondering why I have 2 PS2's. The disc drive in the original model PS2 doesn't work a lot of the time, but since I only have 1 PS2 memory card I use the hard drive in the old PS2 to back up save data.

To the right of the bookcase you can see part of a Mace Windu character standee. I also have a Queen Amidala one. Both were from Pepsi. To the left the yellow triangle thing sticking out is part of my Skeith (.hack//G.U.) character standee. I would of liked to of gotten some pics of these, but they are a bit difficult to get out from where they are.

This vinyl banner for Star Wars episode 2, was supposed to be used to advertise the release of the movie on VHS at the K-mart I worked at. It never got put up and I found it in the back. Since it was way past the release when I found it the electronics manager just let me go ahead and take it home.
I put the Star Wars plushies in sandwich bags because it made it easy to display them on the wall without a shelf. Helps keep dust from gathering on them as well.

More collectibles from my time at K-mart. I tended to take home any Star Wars related signing when we were done with it, like the Lays Phantom Menace sign in this picture.

I also have a large collection of buttons advertising the release of various movies on VHS or DVD. This is just a small part of that collection.

Yes that is all four seasons of Punky Brewster on the DVD shelf. It was one of my favorite shows as a kid. Punky Power!

My one and only Dakimakura.

Star Wars fan spotted! :P Though I must ask - what's your opinion on the prequels? Aside from the two big wall scrolls, it seems most of your merchandise is of the original trilogy.
They were ok. Revenge of the Sith was the probably the best of the 3. I still think Return of the Jedi is the best overall. Looking forward to the live action series, which I believe is supposed to begin airing sometime next year.
...I haven't even heard of the Live Action series. Man I've been out of the loop...
My favourite is RotJ as well. The original movie was a bit lacking in the lightsabre department; tESB was a bit too focused on the mystical (I found the movie a bit slow as a kid); RotJ has a healthy mix of all that makes Star Wars awesome. Plus Leia in a bikini. ;)
The prequels were okay - great action. I don't hate JarJar that much, actually, but in the end the prequels were a bit too focused on action. Loved the awesome panoramic shots that were made possible by new technology though - all the clones marching into ships, mass-scale fighting on Geonosis...
The series is supposed to take place between Episode 3 and 4 and will feature original characters with the possibility of cameos from major characters. You can get some more info from Wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Star_Wars_live-action_TV_series . Looks like the series might not start until 2011. Steve Sansweet said the series has the possibility to run for 400 episodes.
Hmm...I'm sort of excited, but at the same time kind of apprehensive about the whole thing. On the one hand, it's more canon Star Wars! On the other...well, it's in between Episode 3 and Episode 4. While that does mean we get to see some new characters as well as old mainstays, it means the story is even *more* restricted than the prequels were.
The prequels were perfectly fine in terms of story - had no issues with it, really. However, there were certain restrictions on how the story would end up because it had to match up with the rest of Star Wars canon; namely, the original trilogy. There was still a lot of room to move in, but if the new TV series takes place between 3 and 4...it's a pretty narrow window.
The interview snippets from Wikipedia help - it might be fine, even great if they focus on some of the other characters whose fates haven't been determined - but I'll wait and see.
I said Steve Sansweet in the last reply, but I meant to say Rick McCallum. But I don't think it's going to be more restrictive. I think they are planning the start of the series to be a kind of anthology series not focusing on one particular person or group, and then taking 2 or 3 of the stories from this and expanding them into their own spin off series.
Nice room, great profile photo and lovely Jango Fett poster!
Thanks
