WTB~Alna's Everyday Wear Outfits and Encore Outfit
I had some bad luck with Dolls Party 24 regular item release on VolksUSA. :-/ Even though I got my order in at 11:04 (the items went up for sale at 11:00) I still was unable to get either of Alna's everyday wear sets.
I was wondering if anyone knew where else I could purchase these sets or that is willing to sell them to me. I looked on eBay but the asking price is way too high ($200+) and that's not even including shipping.
I REALLY WANT these outfits badly for my White Christmas Version of Alna. Plus I would like some help in finding Alna's Encore outfit. I really adore it as well and would like to have it for my Alna.

You weren't the only one who missed out on some items for the Dolpa 24 items. Things sold way more quickly than usual it was kinda crazy IMO. Anyway as I always recommend to other people when they are looking for items from Volks that are sold out or hard to find. There is always Yahoo auctions Japan, but you will need a forwarding service as well. The prices on there will not be so forgiving either so be prepared. I know my jaw dropped when I was placing my order and it popped up that both of Alna's everyday wear sets were not available for purchase. I think I even said out loud, "What do you mean they aren't available????? That sure is some crap."....lol
I hate that you missed out on some items too. I wonder why the things in this paticular release went so fast?
I've thought about Yahoo Japan auctions, but I'm not sure how to get a forwarding service. I'm not very familiar with that type of stuff. I've read the guides on how to use YJA so I could probably find what I want, but buying what I want is a different story. I know I will probably be paying quite abit for them now, and that's okay to a certain point. I just don't want to break the bank for those outfits.

I guess there are a lot of things people were interested this time so everyone was pretty much waiting at their computers to start ordering.
As for the forwarding services there are two that I use and have been satisfied with. Rinkya.com and Shoppingmalljapan.com both are great sites to use. And they are pretty easy to sign up for. Try them out.
The sad thing is I was waiting by mine and I still missed out T_T

eBay is always overpriced.. Have you tried Yahoo Auctions Jp? I found quite a few cheaper options there
I agree if you aren't lucky, eBay sellers can really rip you off. Seems like more so with Dollfie items.
Like what I replied to Sinistra, I've thought about them, but I don't know how to actually buy the stuff from them. I'm probably going to have to learn because I say they will be really the only place I can find what I want.

I recommend Shopping Mall Japan for buying things off Yahoo (or many Japanese sites in general) - been using them for about a year now
They are very easy to use and simple to deal with. They have a good search engine to help you browse auctions and run things thru translation program and what not

ShoppingMall tends to set their exchange rate lower by 3 (so like, if its 89Y=$1 in general, they will use 86Y=$1)

The Dollfie store nearby has outfit 2 avaible. Although I don't think I could get it and ship it to the US for much less than 200 USD(IIRC, it's like 1500HKD)... I have those outfits myself, although I haven't unpacked any of them...
If you are interested, I can call and check if they can hold it for me. But please reply quickly, as it is on the shelf and may be snapped up(or already gone).

Thank you very much for your kind offer, but I was trying to avoid hitting $200 mark for each outfit. I'm trying to not go over $150 on each set. Also I did find outfit 2 listed on YJA for 8,000yen I'm think I will try my luck and attempt to purchase it from there. Hopefully it will not dramatically raise in price. Another thing although I do want both outfits very badly, outfit 1 is the one I would be more willing to pay the higher price for. Too bad it's not that one available or I would instantly accept your offer.

No problem~ As a fellow Alna/doll fan, I know how it can be to not manage to land those items you want. I missed out on a pair of shoes with the last batch(the short boot thingy with the fuzzy bits). I too would recommend doing YJA if you can find a decent service. The one I used to use seems to be charging too much lately(their shipping is cheap, but I keep ending up having to pay another 1500-2500 yen service charge for items that ended at the 5000 yen range), so I've avoided using YJA lately.
Next time I pop into the store, I'll take a look and see if I can't get outfit 1(and message here if I can). Best of luck though~
I know which pair of boots you are talking about, those are really cute. That's a shame you missed out on them. I hope that you will be able to find them.
I've been checking out that ShoppingMallJapan they seem to be reasonable. I think I'll be trying my luck with them.

I know the price is going to be high, but there is a certain line I didn't want to cross for just one outfit. The stuff I did successfully get from the Dolpa 24 release on VolksUSA plus 2 extra things was around $600. So my wallet has been formally introduced to the high price of dollfie items directly from Volks....lol. But I do love this hobby very much, so it's worth it in the end.
