Lara Croft Underworld review.

I bought Underworld last week, and I decided "Hey, let's do a mini review!"
A follow-on from Legend and Anniversary, Lara decides to follow in her father's footsteps to find Avalon, to search for her missing mother. For this she needs Thor's gauntlets, belt and of course, his hammer. The storyline is darker than the other games, and with its twists and turns, it's not a shameful carry-on, surprisingly.
In the game you head off to many exotic locations, such as the Medditeranian sea, Thailand and even in Croft's house. The enviroments are pretty, and makes Lara react to it if you play, for instance, if Lara goes near fire, she'll throw up her hands to protect herself. She also stumbles if you run too fast, which is refreshing.
The controls this time around are devilish to get a hold of at first, leaving you often falling and having to start all over again at some points. Once you have a full grip on it (About halfway through) you'll be able to control her quite easily. The shooting controls are pretty simple, but you don't get to use them that often. This time, you don't need medical packs either, if you are injured, wait a little bit, and Lara will start healing all by herself. It's handy, but takes time, and not very useful in a three-on-one tiger fight sometimes.
The soundtrack to the game is soothing as you play, especially in the start of the Thailand level. The dialogue and acting is refreshing, with little gems of quotes at times.
All in all it is a good game, and worth the money you pay for it. Good luck, and happy gaming!
