Saber Lily, my long awaited flower has finally bloomed
After months of waiting for Volks USA to have her instock, Saber Lily was finally ready to pick up today :D Volks store was super busy today as they r expecting 10 customers to come and pick up their Lily as well. Despite the traffic, all the clerks was extremely helpful with all of my questions and provided me with a great customer service, one thing I love the most about Japanese culture ^^.
Even though she took 2 hours to assemble (extremely difficult due to her fragile nature), Saber Lily is truly a sight to be hold after you manage to set everything up. Seeing her in all of her glory truly make all those months of waiting and the money I pay for her worth it ^^
This is where the fun end for me I guess...............seem like the wig already show signs of falling off, great D:

Suck part is that this problem doesn't seem like it is major enough for VolksUSA to replace it. They told me they only replace the wig if it is a major problem and truly defective -_-
Congrats on obtaining Saber Lily!!! ...I have a question that I hope you are able to answer for me. I recently also got Saber Lily but I am having problems with her wig as well, but the problem is not the pony tail part it's the ahoge the part with the silly hair sticking up, it's not lending in the proper direction, in fact it's lending towards the opposite direction. Do you know how I can fix this and does this qualify as a defective wig? Many thanks in advance!!! ;)

By the way, I noticed that saber's head can only tilt on 1 side, is that normal? but can move on both sides just can't tilt to the left.

When I was there today, I didn't see any Lily available for the public. Base on this, I highly doubt it :/

It just mainly due to the extreme difficulty in handling. Two prime example are her wig and her dress, which are very tight and fragile. So imho, without any prior experience in handling a DD, taking care of DD Lily going to be quite a hard task

Congrats Ken!!! She is very lovely. Sorry to hear about the wig. I should be getting Lily on Tuesday and I realized I need to brush up on how to take care of her wig. I don't want anything going wrong because of my ignorance.... Best of luck to you and your new girl!
Thanks. Yea, I try my best to be extra careful with the wig, but it is extremely tight to put on. So despite how careful I am, a bit of force and pressure is a must when u putting on the wig, I think that where it got a bit mess up on the top (not 100% sure though)

Well the clerks at Volks USA told me that most (if not all) of their DDs customer learn about DDs from Danny Choo :D

Congrats on Lily's arrival (^^), as for the wig, I think this was a bad design, even my replacement wig had lost of loose hair and bold spots too, but at least the pony tail stayed on.

what a pain Lily is soo xpensive and most quates im getting from owners is that the wig is falling off or breaking apart, i really wanted her for my 2nd daughter but with all the wig issues and also the xtreme high price im having second thoughts, i would be devastated to get her new just to suddenly realised that the wig is falling apart after a couple of weeks. Thank god i got Rise for my first daughter, even when i spayed her her with strong styling get, which i dont anymore cause everyone in the forums freak out LOL!, the wig is still very sturdy and didnt break apart.
