Dollfie loot!
I've been doing some hunting recently for more Dollfie sized goodies and so far I hadn't found much. That was until a friend at the last Doll Meet told me where she saw some stuff that she used for her girls.
I went by Books A Million and they had LOADS of cool stuff there! I got as much as I could afford at the time and then went to AC Moores craft store to see if they had more of those wide brimmed hats I liked. They did indeed have hats but they also had something else I could not believe I finally found....
The parts to make Nekomimi TAILS!!!
I got home from work with my goodies in tow and the girls were all in the bedroom, still lazing about.
As you can see, Yoko and Miyuki are playing Rock,Paper, Nyan! Wait, I meant scissors!
A shot of her new tail! Basically I used some white fur material I found and wrapped it around two long pipe cleaners. I then used glue to hold it together and some staples to make sure it held well. I have no sewing material so that's what I had to do to make this work.
The tails are held to clothing by the pipe cleaners. Two of them stick out of the base of the tail about 2 inches and can be bent, one up and one down or both down. So as you see above, I bent both of them down to hook onto the back of Yoko's pajama bottoms. It works great!
The fabric and pipe cleaners cost me less than five dollars and it gave me enuff materials to make three tails. Perfect since I have three sets of ears!
"Papa! You now have two more kitties in the house!"

I got us three more hats so each of you can have one to keep the sun off you. I also got us another desk lamp since you keep telling me you don't have enuff light in the living room to read well.
"Papa, what is this for? It's kind of neat looking."
That's a bracelet I got for yall to use as a belt. It should look good with a bunch of clothes.
"Oh, ok. Good call."
"Hey, are these for more necklaces?"
Yes they are Yoko. The black and white one will be for Mai's new necklace. The little hearts will be for everyone to use.

Bone-kun shows the other two drinks I got. These were at AC Moores back in the aisle where they have dollhouse supplies. They cost just under four dollars each. They are real glass and have liquid inside.
"Hooray! VICTORY! I so called there being donuts inside!"

Books A Million had an entire rack of these right by the registers. For two dollars each, they are a steal.
Now my girls can brush up after all those snacks they eat....
"Hey, I really like this new camera Papa. It's really nice."

How cool is this? Push the button and it lights up the flash AND it makes the little clicking sounds of it taking a picture! Very nice.

No, Manami isn't ladylike all the time. But she does what we all do and doesn't care what anybody thinks. That's one of the many reaosns I love her so much. =3

She isn't a perfect lady but you knew this! She does whatever she feels like and doesn't care about the consequences. Yet another reason she is my adorable little Ichiban Hime.
Heh, yup--because, unlike Agatha, Manami can kick back and just be "one of the guys" if she feels like it! Belching, farting, and butt-scratching don't bother her at all.
I think part of Manami was modeled after friends I had in college. =3 *I* was considered "one of the girls" over at an apartment complex where I would hang out with female friends. That was the first time I saw girls acting like guys when nobody else was around. They treated me like one of them and would basically do guy talk right in front of me. It was an eye opening experience for sure. XD So I think Manami is similar to this..... she sees me as one of the girls too so she could care less about keeping up an appearance for me. Unless she wants something, then she's all cutesy and lovey dovey.
Heh, yeah, I guess it's true girls can act more like guys if there's no one around they're actively trying to impress. XD Which, I suppose, also explains the cutsiness bribery--my mom does the same thing to my dad sometimes. "Honey, love of my life?" *Pause* *sigh* "What do you want me do to do?" XD
That's it exactly! It's like she turns on a dime from my homeboy to my cute and innocent ( in her mind ) daughter. I think that behaviour is engrained in every female in the world, including Dollfies. XD

Ha ha, girls DO have itches there! I just never get to see them do this stuff since they try and be super girly all the time. =3 So it's perfectly fine for them to scratch that itch when they get one! It's just funny to see it happen. ^_^

Balldylox can correct me if I'm wrong, but I think these are "candle lamps" and you can find them online if you search using that term. They come in various bases and you can get different clip on shades.

You are correct sir! They have these there all the time for a pretty decent price. Finding a cheap lampshade is what is hard. The ones I got were only 2-3 bucks each. But they have really nice ones there that run 6-8 each and I didn't want to get that deep into it.

As for the games with a hammer, I was wondering what the light THUMP THUMPs were coming from the living room. Basically Rei was on all fours trying to smack Manami's toes with it. Manami was not pleased and when she saw me, she ran over and protested. I had make Rei stop so that noone got hurt. The Rei protested. Sigh, I can't win.
LOL! Manami's toes = Whack-a-mole? XD Man, sounds like being an arbiter in your house is a full-time job!
It is!! Half my time is spent being a negotiator and referee. They don't really fight much physically, they just get in verbal spats. And most of those are won by Rei and Mai. Manami will just get fed up and walk away. :)

I don't think we will see the DDS released as a separate body until late this year at the earliest. And I seriously doubt it will be offered in the pale or white version anytime soon. It would be nice but I doubt they are planning it just yet. Don't give up hope on one, just don't be upset if it doesn't occur.

Most of the girls find Rei's antics towards Manami funny. They know Rei wouldn't really do her any harm but Manami isn't so sure. ^_^
Rei is my second favorite daughter. I wasn't too sure in the beginning and I really thought Yoko would be. But Rei is always there for me and always the family's anchor. We would not be the same without her and I am very grateful I was able to find her in Japan when I did.

Manami and Rei don't know their status with me personally but Manami does know that she is the oldest daughter and that she is also the group leader. So even tho she seems to be the most childish at times, she knows her role as the head girl and makes sure others know it too. ^_^

Kitty Yoko is awesome! Your girls got a lot of cool stuff this time around. Actually, they always get cool stuff. The light up camera is great. I have some of those bottled "drinks" too. They are so fun. I used to have a bunch of Cokes of the world bottles with writing in other languages like Arabic. Eventually, some of them turned clear and look less like "Coke" now.

This is a blast from the past! ^_^ I got that camera at a Books A Million store near me. They were about $4.00 USD each. I'm not sure they sell them there anymore tho but I haven't been back in there in a long time.
