hlj sal shipping question

i have ordered some kits from hlj and have selected SAL as my shipping method its almost already been a month and i have yet to receive my prcel WTH? is it suppose to take this long? any other people from the philppines you have ordered from hlj? how long did it take for you to get your stuffs?

I've only ordered one package from HLJ before, and that was my Signum figma. I did use SAL shipping. I can't remember exactly how long it took, but it was between 2 - 3 weeks.
However, I know that SAL shipping can vary drastically from one person to the next though. My last package only took little over a week to arrive!
atlest you got yours in under a month, i've been waiting for my stuff's for roughly over a month now heck my card bill came faster than the things i've ordered
It isn't unheard of for SAL packages to take nearly 2 months to arrive. I've read of some cases of it happening.
How big was your order/package though? I believe that may also have an effect on transit time.
about 3 kits big it was sent via registered sal since they said the box was to big for the regular sal shipping
registered sal ussually takes longer than regular sal from my experience as I've had a registered SAL parcel shipped out before a regular sal and the registered SAL took a couple days longer
well from most websites for me it takes about 2 weeks to get it by SAL, but the one time i ordered from HLJ it was ridiculous, it was like... 2 months? whats the max waiting time? 45 days? i think i was exactly on the max when it came xD
Hey, since there's the radioactivity going on in Japan, wouldn't there be radioactivity packed inside the box when the figure is being boxed up?
the parcel was shipped out over a month ago way before the quake hit japan
I know, but I mean the figures that are going to be released soon in Japan might have since the airlines in Japan will resume very soon D=
are you seriously saying this?
Oh, hello fellow Bay Area citizen!
Well if you think about it, this could be true.
Doubt it there's not much radiation as most people think there is. There's a lot of people going around talking about radiation in Tokyo making it sound like much bigger than it actually is with their overly exagerated facts
Any packages that are coming from japan around now are not going to be shipped around that area.
I ordered from HLJ using SAL once, and it took a month and a half for my parcel to arrive, so I think it's probably normal.
Oops, I meant HobbySearch lol.
But yeah, can't imagine it'd be much different from HLJ
Most likely your parcel is sitting in customs.
I ordered something with Registered SAL on Feb 25, and according to tracking, it's been sitting in customs since March 2nd -__-
SAL partials move based on space. They have a low priority, so they go in last. If there is no space, It get left behind for the next shipment.
The 7-45 days is based on an average estimation. In some country's its fast(like mine,6 days exact, every time) and some are EPIC SLOW. All I can say is, be patient.
i'm trying to be patient... la la la la ~whistle~ ~whistle~
90% of the time I use SAL
I expect my package to come around 10-14days after I receive shipping notification
longest it took was 28days
shortest was 8days
Maybe the post is holding it, I've had that problem three times with my Post Office in the same month. >:(
if it's registered, shouldn't you have some tracking to it?
all i could find out about my package is that it left tokyo 28 days ago
Used HLJ and took about 1 month, though it's my first and only SAL order.
Since it came in about a month I tried ordering with EMS, though they said it averagely takes about 3-14 days it's now on the 15th day and it still hasn't move from the customs since it arrived from the Philippines can anyone also share their experiences, preferably those in the philippines. thanks!
Better check with your Custom terrorists... Maybe they're holding it hostage...
It also greatly depends on how efficient customs is in your country. I know I've had to wait for a month after an item was already in the country, simply cause customs were sitting twiddling their thumbs or something.
My stuff from HLJ ussually takes 12 days or less but I guess it depends on where you live and customs and all you know
just wait for it~
This is why you should EMS instead of SAL
SAL can be really bad sometimes, fastest I've ever got something via SAL was 13 days whilst the longest one took was over 3 months.
Hey, can you guys help me with something too?
My friends want to sent me Black Rock Shooter limited edition. She in USA and she want to sent it to me. I live in Malaysia. So, can you guys list the shipping method that can she use (anything) with the estimate shipping time? Please~
I figured I'd ask since you post is already here I hope you don't mind, is SAL different from Registered SAL? what's the difference I've used registered from AmiAmi but I also like buying from HLJ but the don't offer Registerd SAL.
registered sal = to parcel that has tracking number and is insured
regular sal = to parcel that has none of the above perks
oh thanks for the tip! I was wondering about the time it takes because to Colombia everything is slow and yet it only takes 15-20 days either way they should offer registered SAL 500 yen more for insurance and tracking (and apparently faster delivery)is totally worth it.
