New adoption - Lily makes 3
Hello all. Sorry for the delay in posting this but I have family visiting this week and it's been a hectic week. (in a good way).
What really made this week fantastic is that Tuesday night I got home from work and had a long rectangular box waiting for me at home! I've been waiting since December and I finally got Lily! It was a tough wait - especially with Wolfheinrich posting his Lily with her beautiful upgraded bust all the time. :P
My girls were getting ready for bed since I don't come home from work till after 9pm. They were already dressed in their cute PJs I got them from Balldylox's friend Ann. These are just adorable outfits and the girls new they had to wear their cute animal slippers from Mimiwoo's site with them.
At first they didn't know what it was, I'm assuming since the box wasn't yellow? Then Sakura noticed the Volks logo on the package and Sakura got real excited. I don't think Yukino believed Sakura at first, she must have thought it was one of her jokes.
While Sakura worked to open the package Yukino tried to get a response from anybody inside the box by knocking on it.
Yukino: "Umm, is there anybody inside of here?"
Sakura wasn't having any luck so she asked for something to cut with. "Here ya go Sakura, but be very careful."
Yukino: "I think I heard something. There is someone inside. Hurry Daddy, we need to get her out!!!"
Sakura: "Thanks Daddy, that should do the trick."
Yukino: "Hold on in there. We are going to get you out soon!!!"
After some cutting of plastic and some help from me we got it open.
Sakura: "See Yuki-chan, I told you someone was inside."
Yukino: "Oh my, she's so pretty. She still needs our help though to get out."
Yukino was worried about protecting Lily's modesty while Sakura worked on the ties.
Yukino: "Are you feeling ok now? I brought you something to wear. I remember how embarrassing it was for me when I first woke up. Look Sakura, she's touching my hand!"
Sakura: "Are you feeling better now that your awake?"
Lily: "Yea, thank you very much. I'm wondering though, who is this man taking photographs of me?"
Yukino: "Oh, don't worry about him. That's Daddy. He's really nice and takes care of us."
Lily: "I see. Yoroshiku onegaishimasu!"
It seemed Sakura and Yukino had more fun looking through all the things that Lily had with her but there was only one think Lily wanted at the moment. Her wig. The girls helped get it out for her. I told them to be careful because it's very fragile and to make sure they never pulled or nudged her ponytail. Thankfully everything went ok.
With some adjustments Lily was feeling 'right as rain'.
After letting her settle in for a day or so Lily wanted to try on her armor to make sure everything fit well in case she needed to use it.
Thankfully Lily and I are getting along just great. She trusted me to help her put on her armor though I'm not sure I was much help at all. It took almost 1.5 hours as I kept putting the pieces on in the wrong order and then she would have to take them off to redo the order.
Lily was very kind and helped me out a great deal and I think we will be much faster the next time.
I couldn't get over how beautiful she looked in her full gear. The striking black/white outfit with the really beautiful shaped armor pieces. She really looked like a king - I guess I should say a queen.
As getting dressed was such a long drawn out process Yukino offered to get us a drink. Lily was only partially dressed when she was telling Sakura what she wanted but she was so cute like that I had to take a snapshot of her:
I was telling Balldylox that I think she's ready to be in the next Queen's Blade anime dressed like that. :P

Thanks Jun97! I'm really happy with Lily and especially happy I haven't had any wig issues. I feel like a lucky guy compared to some others.

I almost didn't use that shot. :) I felt bad taking a photo of her without her wig. She's a tough girl though, I don't think she minded much.
I think that shot was a good one, added some major realistic value to the whole "waking up" scenario...

Not only is Lily looking good like that with no wig but she reminds me of Illeya from the first Star Trek movie. :) Plus what's wrong with having a shaved head??? XD

Oh yes, without a doubt. Sakura is saying how much she wants to try on Lily's armor.... I told her she could if Lily is ok with it but there is no way she's not going to play with the sword!!! :P

She has such a srs bzns look on her face. I suppose it's part of the whole warrior maiden aspect of her. Seeing her without a wig really brings it home.
I agree, she is now the Onee-san for my other girls even though she's the newest. She has that more serious and in control look to her. She just seems like the one in charge. :)

Thanks, she already has been. I've spend maybe 3-4 hours on her wig and 1.5 hrs dressing her in the armor. I still need more work on her wig I think. hehe but she's worth it to me.

Hahaha XD I know I have been bad but with a daughter as beautiful as Lily, how I can stop myself from pampering her? And practice makes perfect by the way, the only way for me to get better is to keep taking photos, to keep improving the quality of my shots =)
Hehe, trust me. I love seeing your posts of Lily. Well, all of your girls in fact. It just made the wait for Lily that much more difficult. :P Especially those shots of Lily in her red bunny outfit. Very smexy indeed.

Thanks Smithy. I purchased a set of 24" softboxes with continuous fluorescent lights in them for video but they seem to work pretty good with photos as well. I don't have as much control as I do with my speed lights but I'm still trying to get used to them.

Congrats! My little brother was in the room while I was scrolling through, and he was like "Those are the cutest dolls ever!" He came over and laughed at your story. ^_^ He thinks Lily's awesome, Saukra's wig is very cool, and Yukino looks sweet. You gotta admit, the boy has superb taste for his age. ^_^
Of course I think that this story was great, too! I love Yukino knocking on the box for a response!! So cute! And such a human thing to do, too.

That was the problem tho, you were only allowed to order one of each size and color for those sets. I wanted 3 of the DDdy ones but I could only get one. At least i got an L-bust one too. Rei already has a set of bra and panties so she was good to go already. But it's not like *my* girls wear bras much anyways. They're happy in undies only most of the time..... ^_^
Excellent shots sir! It's really good seeing Lily getting along so well with you and your girls. Her bathrobe is too cute and seeing your other daughters in their new pajamas was awesome. It's one thing to see my girls wearing Annes PJ's but seeing them on other, different girls is just too much fun. I am glad they are liking them.
And yes, that last picture of Lily makes her look ready to join the Queens Blade crew! I bet she is probably a bit better with a sword than some of those other girls are. XD

I'm so many posts behind on showing off my girls new loot. :P The girls love their PJs and tend to want to stay in them all day. haha I told them we are having a small family gathering on Sunday so they are going to have to find something really nice to wear to show off for the guests. They gave me hell for not telling them 2 weeks ago so they had time to shop. :P
I know how you feel! Trying to keep up sometimes gets overwhelming. I still have 3 photoshoots in the hopper ready to go. One will go up today tho.
I am glad they like their PJ's. As for the family gathering, that's funny about shopping! They've got plenty of nice stuff already tho so now they just have decisions on what to wear from that. Which will take them days to choose anyways....

haha - that last one almost didn't get posted. It's more of an outtake. I took pictures of all her armor and clothing pieces as well as shots of her throughout the dressing phase. :) When I saw her arms and legs armored yet just wearing pantsu and topless I knew I had to get a good shot of her.
