Figure.fm gathering/meeting at Shizuoka, life-size Gundam style!
Konnichi-wa mina-san!! Since the Tokyo Anime fair and Anime Content Expo have both been canceled, my new-found friend, SubTokyo vlog creator and Figure.fm member, Kxela and I decided that it would be nice to do something the week-end of Saturday, March 26th and Sunday, March 27th to replace these maybe postponed events. I'm sending this invite to everyone who wants to join us.
Initially, Kxela had posted this invite but somehow Figure.fm didn't like it and it just, disappeared...
We will be taking the Shinkansen line from Shinagawa station here in Tokyo, to Shizuoka station in, Shizuoka obviously...
If you want to come with us, just leave a comment, or a Tweet @RurouniHeero, @Kxela or @Subtokyovlog. It will possibly be the last time to see the life-sized RX-78 Gundam, since the official last day of Hobby fair event and 30th anniversary Gunpla life-size 1/1 Gundam event in on Sunday, March 27th.
Well that was a long post... I hope to see many of you attend this meeting!! Ki o tsukete mina-san!! And of course, Master Danny Choo is also invited!! (though he must be very busy at the moment...it's the 4th time I'm in Japan and never was able to meet with him!)

Because it was an hoax, photoshop... It's a Gundam, it needs more than a quake to get destroyed... XD

It was one of the first thing I checked after the quake, since going to see the Gundam again was one of my main goal coming to Japan again.

Wow, those are really some of th ebest shots I've seen (aside from the one I took personally) , Are they hard to find on flickr? Any specific user or keywords to look out for?
Well, at first I used "Odaiba Gundam" as a search field, and even though it gave me about 700 results, I searched and looked at them closely. I also used "HDR Gundam" as a search inquiry, since the 3rd one is in HDR. I can't really remember from which users they came though, gomen ne. This time I'll make sure sure to take thousands of pictures from all angles, day/night, HDR and whatnot!! Sore jya!!
